Cats in France seem to live on the high ground. There is also evidence which confirms that they literally rest on elevated surfaces, for example on a table. 馃槼
I met this very cuddly cat a couple of hours ago when I went to the front desk to ask for an extra towel. Actually, the cleaning lady of the hotel where we are right now forgot to prepare three of these items.
After all, it's a good thing they failed in this detail; we should never complain about such things (but yes kindly ask) because you see that this way we can find pleasant surprises: even though it's not yet breakfast time, this cat has already been served on the table!
I needed to check the quality of the dessert served. Soft and super fluffy, with purring sounds. Prepared to be cuddled at any time of the day, not just for the breakfast! Gorgeous!
Of course, I asked the receptionist if it was his cat and, as I assumed, the answer was positive. I believe that he brings his pet every day to work, here in this hotel because the cat was so used to the environment and people. The only difference is that she doesn't have to pay to stay here. For her, it is a daily, free excursion.
In addition to that forgotten towel for which I went to the reception and saw this cat, I also took a map of the city and a tourist guide from the place where we are staying today. Ah yes, I didn't tell you, but now you know that we are not at home. It is not difficult to deduce the city from where I am writing this post.
After the encounter with the cuddly kitten, we went for a little walk and saw the main attractions of Nimes, came back and saw that the cat was still there. She is probably our doorman, just a hat is missing from her already elegant black and white fluffy outfit.
