I don’t know about you, but I generally see life through rose-coloured glasses. Mostly. I suppose one is happier finding something good in everything. At the same time, we have to be realistic (even if that sounds contradictory for those wearing the pink glasses) and focus on the things that are essential at a given moment in our lives.
...
So, it happens that it is not even the first of the month, but well, the monthly theme for the Hive Collectors community is arriving today. Let’s see life through different colours… through glasses? Yes, through...
Sunglasses!
Already in August, I had the idea to bring this item as the topic for one of the next months. I took a photo of one of my niece’s sunglasses and a bunch of my son’s sunglasses. Then those photos went to sleep until today. This morning I was in a hurry and couldn’t find my regular sunglasses, so I grabbed a new one from the cabinet that was still in its box. I bought them around a year ago, but since I had other ones, I still haven’t used them.
I was not very comfortable with them; somehow, they are too dark. Also, I like to wear the sunglasses on my head when I take them off for a moment. These were slipping off my head, so that's the second thing I didn't like about them. Oh, am I too picky, or do I not actually see life through rose-coloured glasses? 😂
In case I don't get used to the aforementioned sunglasses, I have these Hive ones. 😋
Basically, my own collection ends here. 🤐
I have old, scratched and bent ones, but I can't look for them right now. It's better I show the tiny collection my son has.
He wears the following two models. Maybe you can think he has a weird style... but wait to see the other glasses...
... For example, these orange-coloured glasses!
Or these glasses with flowers! 😆 Ok, he got these at a party, so he brought them home, not that he really wears them.
When I asked him in August to let me take a photo of his sunglasses collection for the Hive post, he found these ones in the drawers. I guess he has more, but anyway, it is much more than my own collection.
He also gave me the solar eclipse glasses he used while watching this event in August. Now I have them for the next solar eclipse, if I ever fancy witnessing it. This year it was ok to see this event through the TV screen too.
As the last sunglasses for this post, I am holding my niece's purple glasses with an interesting shape. I know it is not pink, but it is a minor detail. 😆 If you also see life through pink-coloured glasses, then you will confirm it is a nice item to close this post.
I hope you like this month's theme and have a few sunglasses to bring to the community. 😎
I am apologising in advance if it happens that I am a bit late on your posts...🙏
