Eid Mubarak, after the month of Ramadan we are blessed with the Eid-ul-Fitr, the biggest Muslim festival. By the grace of the Almighty, it went well, I hope so for the rest of my brothers and sisters in Hive.

In the morning, I felt an absence, an absence of something that was stuck with me from my childhood, which is my uncle. I belong to a nuclear family but my uncle's family lives very close to us, in the same area. So on every Eid after having the morning traditional snacks my duty was to reach my uncle and bring him for prayers, we all would go together to the Eidgah. That was going on from my childhood till his sickness, on one Eid he didn't come, I had to return home because he was sick, we had to go without him. And from the last Eid I don't have that duty anymore, he left us forever, this is the thing that I would miss on every Eid, his absence, he used to love me a loooooot, can't describe in words.

Let's talk about the happy ones now, the weather was very appealing, not so hot nor too cold, was perfect for the outdoor prayers but trust me I was expecting a rainfall and it happened when I have completed my tasks on the list like prayer, visit to the graveyard in remembrance of the people who left us, my grandparent's house though they aren't here but my uncle and cousins are there, and while returning home it started to rain. Had to cut off a few plans but executed a mighty one, one that beats all, might be funny to some but it's the dearest, I slept the whole day, from the morning to evening. But I missed some outings with my friends, sorry guys!

I think I am being anti-social, in the past there was so much interest in visiting all the relatives and hanging out here and there with my friends but now, I wanna just escape all of them and pass the day within my comfort zone. Some will say I have grown up but trust me, I know how much I have grown and how I am acting. Well, this is what it is.

Another thing that was roaming around my head was about an Eid day from my college days. New friend circle, Eid happiness, and I spent the whole day with them, from the early morning to late night and I still remember how sad my mother was as I couldn't have anything that she prepared on that day, and from then I never skip anything from her, I always keep some time for her, because one Eid has made me realized the affection and expectations our parents have from us too. And here is this Eid, I am in my house the whole day, hehe. Well, I went to my cousin's house at night with my sister, she hasn't gone out too so it was a refreshing one for her too. And at last, went out for a little with a friend and that's the end of the day.

Actually, Eid is the festival of being together with everyone and spreading happiness with each other. I did too from my home, hehe. Trust me, I met lotta relatives who came to visit my home, after a long time, all of them. In the past, it used to be like that I went out to meet my friends and missed the relatives that visit my house. This time I got benefitted in this way. Whatever, everything went well by the grace of the Almighty and I am feeling sad about the end of Ramadan. May the Almighty bless us and protect us till the next Ramadan.
