Walking down the road there is a weird house named Take your money. After going close to the front door, we got an entry pass to this weird event. We just popped in to check what's going on and why this event is named in such a way. Well, we were hoping for some free monies too, hehe.

-Welcome, glad to see you guys here.
-Thank you but what's all this about?
-This is a secret game to give you what you deserve.

Sounds interesting so we moved forward to play. There is a secret darkroom that we entered. On a giant screen, our bank account details appeared and suddenly it changed into two things. On one side we saw 200k USD and on the other side, we saw five random people into a vast population that was being changed one after another. The rule of the first round is that we gotta choose between 200k USD or five people. If we choose five people, we save them or we take the money and five people will be killed randomly from any corner of this world.

We were looking at each other's faces, being a happily married couple we had a lot of dreams to fulfill. Suddenly a glance of the dreams we could fulfill with this much amount appeared before our eyes. We couldn’t bring out enough sympathy to neglect this much money to save random five people, whom we don’t even know. We had chosen money, 'our money' as per the title of the event goes. Also, five faces appeared before us that were killed instantly when we had chosen money leaving them. A storm of sadness is visible in our faces, and suddenly we started to feel guilty after seeing those faces of the victims. We held each other's hand and controlled that feeling.

Moving on to the next round,
Here we are given 500k USD as the prize money and on the other hand, there is a list of our friends and enemies. One person will be killed randomly with 50/50 chances of being one of our friends or our enemy. We declared to stop playing this game and leave with what we earned. But it's written on the entry pass that we can't take our prize money unless we finish the whole game. Already five people died because of us and again there are one more people to die. We were in a dilemma to let go of the deaths of those five people in vain and leave with nothing, Or we just continue playing as there is a chance of eliminating our enemies too. That could be beneficial for our business, because the faces of the enemies appearing before us are the most hated people and we had always prayed for their destruction. Should we take the chance or let go as it contains the exact same risk to lose two of our friends.

No one is present here, so we tried to be selfish and we have chosen money over one more life. This time we were double happy, we got the money, and one of our enemies was eliminated, not any friend. Enemy is enemy, no regret of their deaths, also they paid for the troubles they had created for us.

Third and the final round:
This time the prize money is exactly 1M USD. If we can win this round then we will be leaving with exactly 1.7M USD. Undoubtedly a mad amount of money to live the rest of our life happily. We were sweating on which dilemma is going to be served before us this time. After a few moments, we got our 1M prize money appeared before our eyes and the penalty for that is one more person and this time from our blood connected people, our family members. No Way, this was out of any discussion or thinking that we aren't going to play this bullshit anymore. We were mad and angry and tried to destroy everything around us, few of them forcibly escorted us with a different path and when we came back again to the entrance we did not find anything about such an event.

What was that all about? Did we really play anything or all of those was an illusion? Didn't we kill those people we had left to die? That was an illusion, all of those were fake, maybe some people played tricks with our minds. Both of us were in a fantasy where we were being selfish again and again, we just cared about our family ignoring the fact that the people we had chosen to die might also have families too. We were indifferent, we were concerned about just money and that illusion taught us a great lesson. That shock of choosing between the life of our family and money had changed everything around.

Both of us are getting mad, and it feels like our brains are gonna explode soon. We took a cab home and after reaching we got a phone call with the news of a car accident that caused the death of the enemy we had chosen there…
