Look at these beauties. Gem Squash is one of my favourite veggies. They tend to grow fairly easily in my region and are among the usual suspects in my vegetable garden.
These gorgeous specimens have grown to a surprising size and could quite possible edge out a tiny bit more. Will leave them for another few days before harvesting.
Love this time of year, when the garden just starts to show it's full potential as everything starts waking up and you see the "fruits" of some labour.
