Hello Hive

Looking at these fresh peppers here you certainly have no doubts that these is indeed a bountiful Harvest.
The large, yellow color peppers are the ones that appeal to me the most.

It's a colorful morning here from the pictures I have to share with hive blog today. It is my very first time of seeing yellow ball peppers as this one which reminds me of a health promotion exercise we have once engaged in that talked about eating a rainbow campaign.
"Eat a rainbow campaign" was a health promotion Activities that advices people to eàt balanced diet. And the colors of different meals and veggies that forms a balanced diet is what is represented by a rainbow. These peppers were really appealing to me when I checked in at the market yesterday to pick some fresh peppers.

While we are often busy with growing some staples here during our raining days, others are busy in other locations growing fresh peppers and veggies. They import what they have to sell in our markets while we also take what we have over there. Our own season for growing pepper is usually during the dry seasons.

Don't get me wrong, pepper can be grown in water ever season both the dry and raining seasons and we have personally grown peppers in both seasons before when my late mum was alive buy for now we cannot do much of these work all at the same timing hence we pushed the timing for growing our own peppers and veggies into the dry seasons while while we only embark on growing staples and tubers during the raining periods like this.

I purchased dome fresh peppers and garden eggs for cooking. For an experienced farmer, hardly will you see veggies as fresh as these and not feel excited about them. I use the garden eggs for eating rice or yam.

The last time we tried to grow garden eggs here, it didn't end up as desired. There is a probability that we have planted the wrong specie because what we were harvesting weren't even big as these and the colors where very much greener.

I took a bit of my time to ask the owner here about their own garden eggs and how it was grown, hope we will do better at growing these next time. We have never grown cabbages of our own before and I hardly know a thing about growing cabbage we have only grown lettuce and the outcome has been massive.
Hopefully someday we would try growing cabbage here as well.
