In this week's posting topic, I'll be answering question two (2) which says;
🍴Sweet food
Most of us love desserts and cakes; Tell us about your favourite cake or dessert to prepare or cook, share the recipe and method, and tell us why you love cooking, preparing (or eating) it. Bonus points for using your own photos.
Few months ago last year I had started learning baking and pastry and I am so happy I could achieve this lucrative skill finally.
So, while learning, I had really liked fruit cake so much and paid great attention to it.
Why I love fruit cake is that it taste so good and it tickles one's taste bud so well. The flavour it has can make you salivate too. The fruits used in making the cake has an advantage in one's body system. It makes you think outside the box and also be creative too.

I mixed fondant well using glucose, CMC, gelatin and water.
I nidded it well and started my decoration. I covered the cake first using wrapping method and I covered the board too.
I used moulder to mould garden egg, kolanut and beads.
I used the fondant to make bracelets, a small plate to contain the kolanut and garden egg and necklace too.
I allowed it dry and then pasted them on the cake. I used alphabet cutters to write the name of the couple as instructed.
After every every, this is what It looked like. Achieving this wasn't easy but I did it and presented it to the couple.
That's how a traditional cake looks like over here in Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria though there are other designs.
P/S: The pictures of the cake are mine taken by my phone and all other pictures that are not here is because I couldn't snap them while working too.
