Hello,
Poliac Champions League is halfway thru the group phase. Mathematically all still have chances for the quarterfinals. Let’s see how the groups are doing. For many Match Day 4 (Thursday, Sep 16) will be deciding.

Total scores per group by match day

Group A

Standing - Group A

By far and large group A is the most interesting group. And it's not that it is my group :-)
Several aspects make the group stand out from the others:

the group with the highest total score (356), the next is group D with 318
the only group in which all players have won and lost at least one match
the only group in which the top player's score is less than 30% of the group total (106 out of 356 makes 29,78%)

Match Day 4 can turn the table upside down. If @giulius beats me and @cezary-io wins vs @ilodz24hd , then we all have 6 points and we are back to square one. With everyone scoring well above 20, all is possible here. Any bets?

Group B

Standing - Group B

@manuvert is well positioned to secure a place in the quarterfinals. He dominates the group - his score makes 38,29% of the group total. If @ptaku and @sk1920 don't win on Match Day 4, the two quarter-finalists will be known very early.

Group C

Standing - Group C

This group's total score is the lowest of all - only 233. @masoom has won all, but cannot relax yet. Mathematically all still have chances for quarterfinals. @asia-pl will need three wins and a bit of luck. Her next match is against the group's leader. The other pair can make things interesting or boring. The latter will happen if @practicaleric wins over @davidesimoncini

Group D

Standing - Group C

As in group B, the leading player has all under his control. For @grecki-bazar-ewy (she plays against @browery) and @bucipuci (match against @venan ), Match Day 4 is the last chance to catch up.

Stats and prizes

MVP

@browery and @manuvert won all their matches. So did @masoom, but with significantly lower scores. So the former two will be jointly awarded 0.5 HBD as the best players of the first part of the group phase.

Best group

Measured by the total score, group A leaves all others behind. All players will get 0.2 HBD

Average score of winners and losers

No prize here, just an interesting stats. The first two match days were over the weekend and the winning players won their games with high margins (on average). Match Day 3 was on Monday and the margin between winning and losing a game has immediately dropped down. Let's see how it looks on Thursday and Friday, when matches no. 4 and 5 respectively are played.
