Today I went for a walk at the pathway to the Lobau Park. Its the 2nd time that they have cleared and mowed the grass left and right of the pathway so that all insects and wildflowers were gone. It is a sad issue because what was once a natural area jampacked with all kinds of insects especially the flowers for the butterlies and the bees were not there anymore.

These images were taken on the side of the pathway where the soya field begins. And there were a few red bugs working their way on the remaining flowers. I captured this one and observed what it will be doing.

As long as there are plants, flowers and the likes, these insects will be there. It´s a survival of the fittest . They will wander where there are greens on the fields. Some of them get underneath the earth especially when the cold season begins to replace Summer.

The Eco friends who made the construction of the pathway possible had also placed an insect hotel nearby so that any insect can protect themselves during cold season.

The bees are now coming again because the adjascent soya fields have wild geraniums growing in abundance. The insect below looks like a spider , its tummy is large with long tentacles , I wonder what its name is.

That´s all for today, keep safe and I´ll see you around!
