I hope you spent a nice weekend in your favorite way!
Another working week is just started and here the sun is shining on the sky. While I was working close to the open window I heard the sound of a bee close to me and watching in my backyard a noticed there were some very busy bees around the branches of my ivy plants.
Sure, it's autumn and here in my area (Tuscany, in Italy) it's time for the ivies to be in bloom. The air around smell of its pollen and you can see the bees flying and buzzing around. I read that is rare to be able to harvest the ivy honey and often it's left to the bees for their winter supply.
It's nice to see a plant that climb everywhere like the ivy is a very important plant for bees. I remember it every time I think it's time to cut some of its branches. 😁
When I watched the bees all around my ivies in blum I took my camera (a Nikon coolpix B700) and I took some pics to share with you:
If you enlarge the pics you can see the pollen on the legs of the bees and watching them closer (it's better not too much closer 😁) those bees are full of yellow colrs and they seems larger than usual cause all the pollen on their body.
Well, now I have to come back to my brushes and colors.
