Society will tell you to keep trying, stay consistent, and everything will work out in the end.
But no one ever tells you how long you will have to wait for the result you are looking to show up.
No one ever walks you through the turmoil you will face as a result of waiting.

The doubts when you wake up every morning and wonder if you are wasting time or your life pursuing something that might never work out.
How can you even tell when it is time to cut your losses, pack up and leave?
When does sunk cost fallacy stop dragging you out of bed every morning and hitting the nail on the wall, hoping the brick will eventually break through to a pile of gold?
You can never know, you can never tell.
However, there is always something that comes out of consistency.
You start seeing things you never saw before clearly. A lot of things will begin to make sense to you as you keep doing them.
Initially, you were probably chasing the results, blindly and mindlessly but because you kept at it every day, some things starts revealing themselves to you
You might not reach the original goal you had in mind but somehow, a new venture might spring up right before you.
And this will happen because you started to put the pieces of everything together.
What started as, let's try to move from point A to B, starts having point C, D, E, F and soon, you are having a roadmap with different routes, stops, fuel stations, casinos, food joints, gym centers, etc.
A full city, if I must add.
Consistency may not always lead to the original idea, plan or blueprint you had in mind when you first started but it will always reward you with broader views and revelations that will jumpstart you to a completely different venture.
No one will know this wasn't the original plan unless you tell them.
So what consistency gives you is the understanding of how all the moving parts comes together to make the machine whole.
If you can understand them independently, you can confidently build more things and add to the original plan and own a city.
Your city!
Until then, stay consistent.
