Saludos Comunidad

Greetings, Community!

Wishing everyone a week filled with blessings worldwide. I hope you are all well, healthy, and enjoying the company of your families.
My birthday was approaching a few days ago. Usually, I make a *quesillo* (flan) because I love it, but I didn't have the necessary ingredients on hand this time. However, I had been toying with the idea of trying to make orange-flavored cupcakes, so I decided to go for it. I made a small batch just to test them out, planning to gather feedback before making them to share or sell.
Well, to sum it up... those who tried them really liked them; the flavor and the addition of dark chocolate chips gave them a special touch. I do need to work on the size, though—and, of course, use larger cupcake liners next time. To be honest, I bake based on intuition, so I still have a lot to improve regarding my cupcake technique to make them more visually appealing—though the taste spoke for itself for those who tried them.
So, instead of the usual cake, my cupcakes were the unique treat for the day.
Regarding the chocolate chips, I spoke with @Sirenahippie, an administrator of the planpoweronhive@planpoweronhive community, about this ingredient. They are dairy-free, though the packaging notes that they may contain traces of milk, peanuts, almonds, and other allergens due to the equipment used during their production.

For these little treats, the following ingredients were used:

500 milliliters orange juice
355 grams sugar
345 grams all-purpose flour
125 milliliters vegetable oil
Orange zest to taste
7.5 milliliters vanilla
7.5 milliliters vinegar
1 tablespoon baking soda
½ tablespoon salt
100 grams dark chocolate chips
Size 09 cupcake liners

Preparation

First, combine the dry ingredients: all-purpose flour, sugar (mix the orange zest into the sugar so it absorbs the orange aroma and flavor), baking soda, and salt. Then, add the chocolate chips.
Next, combine the wet ingredients: orange juice, vanilla, white vinegar, and vegetable oil.
Once the dry and wet mixtures are well prepared, combine them. Then, pour the batter into the cupcake liners and bake for approximately 30 minutes.
