A short time after I joined Steem, in May of 2017, I found @eSteemapp, and I have never looked back!

Even way back then the new app had features that were more useful to me than Steemit had, and the app has grown and been developed continuously since then.

One of the reasons I chose to use my phone is that I have limited use of my left hand, and swyping on a phone is far easier for me than trying to type one handed on a keyboard. eSteem was a perfect match for me, and with it's drafts and bookmarks and favorites it was far ahead of Steemit right from the start.

As a curator for eSteem, while looking through the posts created everyday, it's been easy to see and become friends with users from all around the world who may not own a computer but have been able to post to the Steem blockchain using esteemapp@esteemapp on their phones.

One of my favorite stories about those early days was a time when I messaged good-karma@good-karma and whined about something that I couldn't get to work. His response was 'switch nodes' and my response back was 'what's a node?' He told me to wait, and later that same day he had created a new feature under settings that allowed me to switch servers effortlessly. App development is all a mystery to me, but from that moment on I have continued to be amazed by all the lovely features and brilliant development of @eSteemapp
