Have you ever processed cassava leaves into a dish? Have you ever cooked it? If ever we can share recipes here because I believe between my recipe and yours there are differences in seasoning. Cassava leaves are found in Indonesia and these cassava leaves can also be processed with various kinds of vegetables. Starting from a mixture of ointment, Botok, Pecal, stew, and much more. This cassava leaf is a little hard so it takes a little longer to process it into vegetables, but the taste of this cassava leaf is very fat and very tasty, especially if it is processed with coconut milk as I will share the recipe with you.



Processed cassava leaves are one of the favorite vegetables in our family, all of these processed cassava leaves are very popular even in the midst of our banquet, but because the processing takes a little longer compared to other vegetables, I can only take holidays processing cassava leaves.

And today I will process these cassava leaves into Gulai, Gulai is different from curry. Even though both have a mixture of coconut milk in them. There are several ingredients that you must prepare to make this cassava leaf curry.

Necessary materials :


1. 1 bunch of cassava leaves

2. 3 cloves of red onion

4. 2 pecans

5. Bay leaves to taste

6. Ebi to taste

7. Salt to taste
8. Chili peppers

9. 1 liter of coconut milk

10. 2 cardamoms

11. A little cinnamon

How to make :


1. Pick cassava leaves, take the young leaves and remove the very old leaves
2. Boil the sweet potato leaves for about 10 to 15 minutes until the cassava leaves are soft

3. While waiting for the cassava leaves to be boiled, prepare the ground spices

4. Garlic, onion, chili, candlenut, cardamom and ebi in puree into one. After finely set aside,

5. After the cassava leaves are cooked, remove and drain.

6. Saute the ground spices until fragrant

7. After fragrant, enter the bay leaf, cinnamon, salt and stir again until evenly distributed

8. After the spices are fragrant and evenly mixed, add the drained cassava leaves

9. Stir constantly until all the spices are mixed with the cassava leaves earlier

10. After everything is mixed, add the coconut milk and stir constantly so that the coconut milk doesn't break

11. Cook the cassava leaves using medium heat.
