Por la ciudad va caminando
un ser bastante alto
lleva ojos en todo lado,
esto es bastante raro.
A pesar de todas sus miradas
se estrella con una vivienda baja,
por suerte no se rompe nada
pero se desprende su cabeza grisácea.
A rather tall creature
is walking through the city;
it has eyes everywhere,
which is quite strange.
Despite all its eyes,
it crashes into a low building;
luckily, nothing breaks,
but its grayish head comes off.
Se ve un personaje de un ojo
que se camuflaba con otros ojos,
él se siente horroroso
y que lo miran con enojo.
El sol se acerca a ayudar,
es fuerte y varios ojos puede alzar,
los pone en su lugar
y un regalo a aquel ser le da.
We see a one eyed character
who was hiding among other eyes;
he feels awful
and feels that they’re looking at him angrily.
The sun comes to help;
it’s strong and can lift several eyes,
puts them back in their place,
and gives that being a gift.
El sol le regala un rayo
para que alumbre sus pasos
así no caerá, ni se hará daño
y podrá ver mejor los obstáculos .
Este ser no necesita ojos de más
para tranquilo andar,
lo que requería era luz real
y esto fue lo que el sol hizo realidad.
The sun gives him a ray of light
to illuminate his path,
so he won’t fall or hurt himself,
and he’ll be able to see obstacles more clearly.
This being doesn’t need extra eyes
to walk with ease;
all he needed was true light,
and that’s what the sun made happen.
