15 June 2026, Freewriters Community Daily Writing Prompt Day 3135: I can’t drive that!

I can't drive that thing!
I can't drive that thing or anything with an engine. I'll let someone else take me this time. I was hanging out with some friends, and the wine went straight to my head. I feel like I'm floating, like at any moment gravity could pull me into the void. I didn't think it was that bad, but when I got up to go to the bathroom, I realized it was much more than just four glasses of wine that had gone straight to my head. I was very dizzy sitting down, just hanging out, but when I stood up, things got serious. I'm not used to drinking.
I started with one glass to loosen up, relax, and spend time with my friends, and before I knew it, I was sober. Being quick and responsible, I called my son to come pick me up.

¡No puedo conducir eso!
No puedo conducir eso ni nada que tenga motor, dejo esta vez que alguien me lleve a mi destino, estuve compartiendo con unos amigos y las copas de vino se subieron a mi cabeza, me siento en aire, como si en cualquier momento la fuerza de gravedad me lleve al vacío.
No pensé que era para tanto pero al levantarme para ir al baño puede entender que eran mucho más que cuatro copas de vino qué estaban en mi estómago y se fueron directo a mi cabeza, estaba muy mareada sentada compartiendo era una cosa pero al levantarme la cosa se puso seria, no estoy acostumbrada a beber, comencé por una copa para entrar en ambiente, relajarme pasar el rato con mis amigos y cuando caí en cuenta ya no tenía sobriedad.
Oportuna y muy responsable llamé a mi hijo para que viniera por mi.
