Hola a todos! Vengo a compartirles un nuevo dibujo que me gustó mucho y que espero también les guste. 😅

Bueno, lo primero que dibujé fue la cara de la chica y el cabello, que son mis partes favoritas. Le hice un cabello largo y medio suelto con algunos pelitos rebeldes. En el rostro quise hacer algunos cambios, dibujé el ojo de la forma en que sé hacerlo, pero la línea de la pestaña la hice un poco más delgada y completé un poquito más la línea de abajo. La nariz la traté de hacer distinta también.

Creo que estos cambios, aunque no fueron tan perfectos, están bien ya que debo experimentar para conseguir un mejor estilo, además el resultado final me terminó gustando mucho. Después dibujé los hongos y las hojas.

Luego lo remarqué todo, excepto la cara, por si cambiaba de opinión en algo y porque el lapicero que uso no seca muy rápido así que debía esperar a que secara lo demás. 😅

Antes de empezar a pintar ya tenía en mente que el personaje sería pelirrojo, así que ví un vídeo en Youtube de alguien pintando cabello rojizo, porque quería que al pintar se viera más realista.

Tomé los colores que necesitaba (que fueron el amarillo, naranja, rojo, marrón claro y marrón oscuro) y comenzé a pintar. Creo que para ser la primera vez que pinto cabello rojizo me quedó bien. 😄

Después pinté la piel con un color durazno muy suave para que quedara casi blanca como el papel, porque este personaje no recibe mucho la luz del sol.

Donde sí apliqué un poco más de presión con un color rosa claro, fue en las mejillas y en los hombros. Me gusta porque se ve bien que estas zonas estén más rositas.

Después le pinté algunas pecas con el color naranja y un marrón claro.

Pinté las hojas combinando muchos tonos de verde.

Los hongos los pinté de manera que combinaran con el cabello, usando azul, rojo, morado y naranja.

A la hora de las fotos busqué tener rayos de luz, pero esta vez fueron pocos porque los días estaban nublados. Donde vivo últimamente han estado así los días, así que estuve cazando el momento en que hubiera sol. 😂 Al final sí pude tomar buenas fotos y en algunas se ven efectos de luz, que era lo que buscaba.

Hubieron dos fotos que salieron algo oscuras, pero como estaban bonitas no las quise dejar a un lado, así que usé un editor para darle un toque especial: en vez de darle brillo o luminosidad a toda la imagen, la edité de manera que solo los hongos fueran los que brillaran y le bajé un poco más el brillo, así le daría ese aspecto de hongos mágicos.

Usé un editor de fotos que descargué hace poco, llamado Snapseed. No soy experta usándolo, pero usé algo llamado "selectivo" y jugué con el brillo y la saturación hasta llegar a algo que me gustara.

Casi no edito mis fotos, siempre busco la luz natural y tomo un montón, pero un montón de fotos! y luego elijo las mejores y lo único que les hago es mejorarles la nitidez y el brillo algunas veces cuando no hay buena luz.

El personaje de hoy es una elfa. Su nombre es Edda. Es una elfina fuerte, amable, divertida, inteligente y aunque a veces puede ser algo torpe cuando está nerviosa, es valiente cuando tiene que serlo. Es súper amable con todas las criaturas del bosque.

Es muy curiosa y siempre está en busca de aventuras. Le gusta ayudar a los demás elfos, así que algunas veces se ofrece para hacer sus tareas por ellos, para así pasear por el bosque y quizás encontrar algo interesante.

Le gusta mucho bailar, las flores y los animales, también los cristales y todo lo que sea mágico. Tiene un mejor amigo llamado Fëanor, quien es muy creativo y protector, además es muy bueno haciendo pociones y conoce mucho de magia. Él siempre la ayuda cuando no conoce sobre algún tema y le enseña a mejorar en las pociones. Cuando no están ocupados, se divierten haciendo competencias de saltos con las ranas y recolectando bellotas con las ardillas.

Ambos viven en un bosque llamado Entzückt, un lugar hermoso, lleno de grandes árboles, variedad de flores, cascadas con agua limpia y cristalina, cuevas de cristales y hongos luminosos.

El bosque siempre está bien cuidado. Gracias a los elfos, los animales que viven allí están protegidos y sanos. Es un lugar mágico, solo se escucha el cantar de las aves y la música cuando hacen fiestas.

Un día en la cascada, Edda se encontró con un venado que había perdido un cuerno en un accidente. Estaba triste y desesperado, así que Edda quiso ayudarlo y corrió a casa para hacer una poción que le regresara su cuerno.

Fëanor no estaba cerca para ayudarla, entonces empezó a trabajar sola. Todo iba bien hasta que apareció un conejo para pedirle un favor, pero hablaba muy rápido y Edda tratando de escucharlo sin perderse y trabajando en la poción, tomó equivocadamente un frasco de hongos mágicos y lo arrojó al caldero.

Edda volteó rápidamente hacia el caldero y vió salir unas extrañas burbujas púrpuras. Entonces tomó el caldero rápido para botar el líquido, pero sin darse cuenta que tenía una silla al lado, se tropezó y el líquido le cayó encima causando que le aparecieran manchitas y hongos por todo el cuerpo.

Yy ese es el dibujo de hoy! Es Edda cuando le estaban apareciendo los hongos. 😅

Estoy contenta con este dibujo, me gustó cómo quedó la chica. Me gustó más a lápiz. Y la historia que inventé sobre ella creo que no está tan mal. Ya tenía algo escrito cuando decidí investigar un poco sobre qué eran exactamente los elfos, ya que honestamente no sabía casi nada, pero hacer este dibujo me despertó la curiosidad, así que leí sobre qué eran y el origen de ellos...

En otro momento indagaré más y a lo mejor se me ocurre otra idea.

Para los nombres de los personajes tengo una lista de nombres de diferentes orígenes de hombres y mujeres para así darle un buen nombre al personaje. Pero para el nombre del bosque no tenía una lista así que busqué en un diccionario que tengo de alemán una palabra que me gustara y escogí "Entzückt" que significa encantado.

Hello everyone! I come to share with you a new drawing that I really liked and I hope you also like it. 😅

Well, the first thing I drew was the girl's face and hair, which are my favorite parts. I made her hair long and half loose with some little unruly hairs. On the face I wanted to make some changes, I drew the eye the way I know how to do it, but I made the eyelash line a little thinner and completed the bottom line a little more. I tried to make the nose different as well.

I think that these changes, although they were not so perfect, are fine since I have to experiment to get a better style, besides the final result I ended up liking a lot. Then I drew the mushrooms and the leaves.

Then I outlined everything except the face, just in case I changed my mind on something and because the pen I use doesn't dry very fast so I had to wait for the rest to dry. 😅

Before I started painting I already had in mind that the character would be a redhead, so I watched a YouTube video of someone painting reddish hair, because I wanted it to look more realistic when painting.

I took the colors I needed (which were yellow, orange, red, light brown and dark brown) and started painting. I think for a first time painting reddish hair I think it turned out well. 😄

Then I painted the skin with a very soft peach color to make it almost paper white, because this character doesn't get a lot of sunlight.

Where I did apply a little more pressure with a light pink color was on the cheeks and shoulders. I like it because it looks nice that these areas are pinker.

Then I painted some freckles with the orange color and a light brown.

I painted the leaves combining many shades of green.

I painted the mushrooms to match the hair, using blue, red, purple and orange.

When it came to the photos I tried to have rays of light, but this time there were few because the days were cloudy. Where I live lately the days have been like that, so I was hunting for the moment when it was sunny. 😂 In the end I was able to take good pictures and some of them show light effects, which is what I was looking for.

There were two photos that came out a bit dark, but as they were beautiful I didn't want to leave them aside, so I used an editor to give them a special touch: instead of giving brightness or luminosity to the whole image, I edited it so that only the mushrooms were the ones that shone and I lowered the brightness a bit more, so it would give it that magic mushroom look.

I used a photo editor I recently downloaded called Snapseed. I'm not an expert using it, but I used something called "selective" and played with the brightness and saturation until I got to something I liked.

I almost never edit my photos, I always look for natural light and take a lot, but a lot of photos! and then I choose the best ones and the only thing I do to them is to improve sharpness and brightness sometimes when the light is not good.

Today's character is an elf. Her name is Edda. She is a strong, kind, funny, intelligent elf and although she can sometimes be a bit clumsy when she is nervous, she is brave when she has to be. She is super friendly with all the creatures of the forest.

She is very curious and is always looking for adventures. She likes to help the other elves, so sometimes she offers to do their chores for them, in order to wander through the forest and maybe find something interesting.

She loves dancing, flowers and animals, as well as crystals and anything magical. She has a best friend named Fëanor, who is very creative and protective, he is also very good at making potions and knows a lot about magic. He always helps her when she doesn't know about something and teaches her how to get better at potions. When they are not busy, they have fun doing jumping competitions with the frogs and collecting acorns with the squirrels.

They both live in a forest called Entzückt, a beautiful place, full of large trees, a variety of flowers, waterfalls with crystal clear water, crystal caves and luminous mushrooms.

The forest is always well kept. Thanks to the elves, the animals that live there are protected and healthy. It is a magical place, only the singing of birds and music can be heard when they have parties.

One day at the waterfall, Edda came across a deer that had lost an antler in an accident. He was sad and desperate, so Edda wanted to help him and ran home to make a potion to give him back his antler.

Fëanor was not around to help her, so she started working alone. Everything was going well until a rabbit appeared to ask her for a favor, but he was talking very fast and Edda, trying to listen to him without getting lost and working on the potion, mistakenly took a jar of magic mushrooms and threw it into the cauldron.

Edda quickly turned to the cauldron and saw strange purple bubbles coming out. Then she grabbed the cauldron quickly to throw the liquid out, but not realizing she had a chair next to her, she tripped and the liquid fell on her causing spots and mushrooms to appear all over her body.

And that's today's drawing! That's Edda when she was getting the fungus. 😅

I'm happy with this drawing, I liked how the girl turned out. I liked it better in pencil. And the story I made up about her I think isn't too bad. I already had something written when I decided to do some research on what exactly elves were, since I honestly knew almost nothing, but doing this drawing made me curious, so I read up on what they were and the origin of them....

Some other time I'll dig more and maybe I'll come up with another idea.

For the names of the characters I have a list of names of different origins of men and women to give a good name to the character. But for the name of the forest I didn't have a list so I looked in a German dictionary I have a word I liked and I chose "Entzückt" which means enchanted.
