Hola a todos! Les traigo un nuevo dibujo! 😄

Disculpen la demora 😅. Sé que cuando empecé publicaba un poco más seguido, pero he estado ocupada y además quiero hacer dibujos más elaborados y me toman más tiempo.

En uno de mis dibujos anteriores tuve un comentario muy interesante, un usuario me pidió que le hiciera un dibujo con materiales morados, a lo que le respondí que en algún momento lo haría.

La idea me pareció interesante. Me recordó algunos títulos que he visto en videos de Youtube como: "Dibujando con todos mis materiales rojos" o "Pinto solo con colores azules".

Y la verdad no había visto ningún vídeo de ese estilo, solo me aparecían como sugerencias ya que sigo muchos canales de arte para aprender.

Pero antes de pintar mi dibujo decidí ver uno de esos vídeos para más o menos tener una idea de lo que iba a hacer.

Vi un vídeo de un chico usando únicamente materiales de color azul. Me gustó mucho el resultado y a la vez me preocupé un poco porque el Youtuber tenía muchos materiales y yo contaba con tan solo algunos colores, dos marcadores y un lapicero, así que pensé que no conseguiría el mismo resultado, pero como ya tenía el boceto hecho y ganas intentarlo, decidí trabajar con lo poco que tenía.

Primero hice algunas líneas a lápiz muy suaves, para marcar donde iría todo y para que a la hora de borrar algo que no me gustara, fuera más fácil hacerlo.

Dibujé un poco a lápiz y cuando ya tenía la idea formada en mi cabeza, empecé a hacer el boceto y a remarcar lo que ya tenía con un color lila número 13 de la marca Kores.

Luego delinié todo el boceto. También para ir cambiando algunas cosas y agregando otras, usé un lapicero violeta brilloso (que no tenía marca) para delinear el vestido del personaje y su cabello. Tuve que tener mucho cuidado y paciencia usándolo, ya que no seca muy rápido y si llegaba a tocarlo mancharía la hoja de papel.

Para el cuerpo usé un plumón con punta de pincel, color morado de la marca Primavera, y un morado más claro para las mariposas (desconozco esta marca 😅. Esos plumones fueron un regalo). Usé ese mismo plumón para delinear las flores, las hojas, los hongos y con un marcador morado de la marca Pointer hice los detalles pequeños.

Cuando llegó el momento de pintar fue el turno de usar los colores. En los hongos usé un morado de la marca Solita, pero como tiene muy poco pigmento, lo combiné con un morado de la marca Artesco, además el primer color parecía más azul que morado.

Todas las hojas las pinté con un lápiz morado marca Norma. Para las flores usé el resto de colores morados, combinando los oscuros con los claritos (estos no tenían marca y ya estaban muy gastados. Solo sé que uno de ellos era otro Kores).

Para pintar el vestido del personaje, combiné todos los colores morados que tenía, usando unos más que otros. En su cabello usé dos colores: un magenta para la base y un morado para las líneas del cabello. Y por último la piel la pinté con uno de los morados más claritos.

Para el fondo usé un poquito de tiza morada que me encontré, pero como no se notaba mucho terminé usando sombras de ojos. Usé un morado muy claro y un poco de rosado; no eran colores muy fuertes. La verdad los usé porque tenían brillo y no quería pintar todo el fondo de morado. También los usé para darle brillo al vestido y otras partes del dibujo.

Como notarán me sigo inspirando de las flores 😅. Solo que esta vez quise hacer algo más de fantasía.

Antes de hacer el dibujo, se me ocurrió la idea de investigar sobre flores de color morado, pues pensé que así sería más fácil decidir cómo dibujarlas y a la vez serían un poco más realista.

Investigando me encontré varios tipos de flores con ese color: las lavandas, los lirios, las petunias y muchas más.

El personaje de hoy tiene un aspecto de chica, pero realmente no es humana. Ella es casi como una planta, su cuerpo es sueve y delicado, como una hoja, pero a la vez resistente; su piel es lisa y algo transparente. El vestido son sus pétalos, que en realidad son parte de su cuerpo, pero también le sirven de vestimenta y el cabello es otro pétalo. Su nombre es Petunia, porque está inspirada en esa flor, pues las petunias son flores que se distinguen por su forma de embudo o campana, lo cual fue la inspiración para el vestido del personaje.

Ahora les contaré un poco del proceso fotográfico 😅.

Me encanta tomar fotos y disfruto mucho tomar fotos de mis dibujos, es entretenido buscar objetos para decorar y los mejores ángulos. No soy fotógrafo profesional obviamente, pero pienso que no lo hago tan mal.

En esta ocasión tenía muchas ganas de hacer algo con la luz, y es que en mi dibujo anterior, que fue de una chica honguito, tengo una foto donde se ve un rayo de luz y me pareció que se veía genial, así que está vez quería aprovechar esos rayitos que aparecen y darme una ayuda con objetos que reflejaran luz, y para eso usé un frasco de perfume vacío y una camisa... ¿Por que una camisa? Pues esta camisa tiene lentejuelas y cada vez que la uso y le da el sol, se pueden ver manchitas de luz. Entonces me acordé de eso y la usé para hacer un efecto. Realmente quedé feliz con el resultado.

Luego vino la hora de tomar la última foto, donde el dibujo ya estaba listo. Aquí hubo una complicación, pues ese día estuvo nublado. Esperé, esperé y esperé a que la luz del sol apareciera y nada, me tocó tomar las fotos el día siguiente.

Pero no quise confiarme, no estaba muy segura si el día siguiente sí habría sol, así que decidí tomar algunas fotos cuando estaba más claro.

Por suerte el día siguiente hubo sol, no tan fuerte como otros días. En la mañana estuvo nublado, pero como a la una y media salió la luz y aproveché para tomar otras fotos mejor iluminadas. Y esta vez sí estuve satisfecha...

A mí realmente me gustó, fue genial usar solo el color morado. Me gustó cómo hice las líneas, se ven como si fueran un sello.

Estoy feliz con el resultado de todo, tanto del dibujo como las fotos. Además me dio más ideas para próximos dibujos, a lo mejor cree personajes con otras flores o algo así.

Hello everybody! I bring you a new drawing! 😄

Sorry for the delay 😅. I know when I started I was posting a bit more often, but I've been busy and also I want to make more elaborate drawings and they take me more time.

In one of my previous drawings I had a very interesting comment, a user asked me to make him a drawing with purple materials, to which I replied that I would do it at some point.

I found the idea interesting. It reminded me of some titles I have seen in Youtube videos like: "Drawing with all my red materials" or "I paint only with blue colors".

And the truth I hadn't seen any videos of that style, they only appeared to me as suggestions since I follow many art channels to learn.

But before painting my drawing I decided to watch one of those videos to more or less get an idea of what I was going to do.

I watched a video of a guy using only blue materials. I really liked the result and at the same time I was a little worried because the Youtuber had a lot of materials and I had only some colors, two markers and a pencil, so I thought I would not get the same result, but as I already had the sketch done and wanted to try it, I decided to work with the little I had.

First I made some very soft pencil lines, to mark where everything would go and to make it easier to erase something I didn't like.

I drew a little bit in pencil and when I had the idea formed in my head, I began to make the sketch and to highlight what I already had with a lilac color number 13 of the Kores brand.

Then I outlined the whole sketch. Also, to change some things and add others, I used a shiny purple pencil (which had no mark) to outline the character's dress and her hair. I had to be very careful and patient using it, since it doesn't dry very fast and if I touched it, it would stain the paper.

For the body I used a purple Primavera brush-tip marker, and a lighter purple for the butterflies (I don't know this brand 😅 Those markers were a gift). I used that same marker to outline the flowers, the leaves, the mushrooms and with a purple marker of the Pointer brand I made the small details.

When it was time to paint, it was time to use the colors. For the mushrooms I used a purple from the Solita brand, but since it has very little pigment, I combined it with a purple from the Artesco brand, besides the first color seemed more blue than purple.

I painted all the leaves with a Norma purple pencil. For the flowers I used the rest of the purple colors, combining the dark ones with the light ones (these were unmarked and already very worn. I only know that one of them was another Kores).

To paint the character's dress, I combined all the purple colors I had, using some more than others. In her hair I used two colors: a magenta for the base and a purple for the hair lines. And finally I painted the skin with one of the lighter purples.

For the background I used a little bit of purple chalk that I found, but since it wasn't very noticeable I ended up using eye shadows. I used a very light purple and a little bit of pink; they weren't very strong colors. I actually used them because they were shimmery and I didn't want to paint the whole background purple. I also used them to brighten the dress and other parts of the drawing.

As you may notice I keep getting inspiration from flowers 😅. Only this time I wanted to do something more fancy.

Before making the drawing, I came up with the idea of researching about purple flowers, because I thought it would be easier to decide how to draw them and at the same time they would be a little more realistic.

Researching I found several types of flowers with that color: lavenders, lilies, petunias and many more.

Today's character looks like a girl, but she is not really human. She is almost like a plant, her body is soft and delicate, like a leaf, but at the same time resistant; her skin is smooth and somewhat transparent. Her dress is her petals, which are actually part of her body, but they also serve as clothing, and her hair is another petal. Her name is Petunia, because it is inspired by that flower, as petunias are flowers that are distinguished by their funnel or bell shape, which was the inspiration for the character's dress.

Now I will tell you a little bit about the photographic process 😅.

I love taking photos and I really enjoy taking pictures of my drawings, it's entertaining to look for objects to decorate and look for the best angles. I'm not a professional photographer obviously, but I think I don't do too bad.

In my previous drawing, which was about a mushroom girl, I have a photo where you can see a ray of light and I thought it looked great, so this time I wanted to take advantage of those little rays that appear and give me a hand with objects that reflect light, and for that I used an empty perfume bottle and a shirt .... Why a shirt? Well, this shirt has sequins and every time I wear it and the sun shines on it, you can see little spots of light. So I remembered that and used it to make an effect. I was really happy with the result.

Then it was time to take the last photo, where the drawing was ready. Here there was a complication, because it was cloudy that day. I waited, waited and waited for the sunlight to appear but I had to take the pictures the next day.

But I didn't want to trust, I wasn't sure if the next day there would be sunlight, so I decided to take some pictures when it was clearer.

Luckily the next day there was sunlight, not as strong as other days. In the morning it was cloudy, but at about half past one the light came out and I took the opportunity to take some more photos with better lighting. And this time I was really satisfied....

I really liked it, it was great to use only the purple color. I liked how I did the lines, they look like they are a stamp.

I'm happy with the result of everything, both the drawing and the pictures. Plus it gave me more ideas for next drawings, maybe I'll create characters with other flowers or something like that.
