Qué emoción estar por aquí otra vez y compartirles un dibujo más.

Antes de empezar a hablarles sobre mi dibujo, quiero contarles que una de mis redes sociales favoritas es Pinterest, ya que siempre me muestra imágenes bonitas de todo lo que me gusta. Y cuando no tengo ideas para un dibujo, me gusta entrar en Pinterest y deslizar todo lo que pueda en busca de inspiración.

La verdad podría pasarme dos horas sin darme cuenta viendo imágenes en Pinterest 😅. Es como estar en una galería de arte solo para ti.

Pero, por qué digo todo esto?

Sencillo, porque la idea para este dibujo nació de Pinterest. Me aparecieron imágenes de personajes con objetos y textos a los lados (lo que, si no me equivoco, se llama Ficha de Personaje o algo así) y quise hacer algo así. Lo que más me llamó la atención fueron los detalles pequeños. Entonces, una vez tuve la idea de que quería hacer algo así, me puse a trabajar en mi dibujo.

Antes de dibujar, pensé en escoger un color protagonista y usar sus tonos, y el color que elegí fue el rosado. También se me ocurrió dibujar todo con la temática de fresas... y sé que las fresas en realidad son rojas, pero tenía muchas ganas de usar el color rosado y así es como el dibujo terminó con esa elección de colores.

Después de tener definido un color y hasta un tema, empecé a dibujar el personaje.

Usé una pose neutral, ya que lo que yo quería destacar eran la ropa y los objetos.

Le dibujé una chaqueta grande con líneas blancas, un vestido corto debajo de la chaqueta y unas botas de caucho de esas que se pueden usar para saltar en los charcos cuando llueve.

Todo lo pinté de un rosado pastel. Y para que no fuera mucho rosado (y porque no tengo muchos colores 😅) el vestido corto lo pinté de un color verde oliva.

Antes de dibujar los objetos, recordé que he visto últimamente muchas fotos de conejos súper lindos. Y yo no sé dibujar animales realistas, pero me pareció que un conejo quedaría bonito, ya que estaba usando colores pasteles. Y bueno, practiqué un buen rato hasta que me salió un conejo decente y lo dibujé en la hoja donde iría todo lo demás.

Dibujé una mochila, un gorrito, una cámara, un pastel y un batido de fresas y además dibujé un cuaderno que tiene como portada a un conejito, y un lápiz con forma de zanahoria.

Pero ahora mi inspiración eran los conejos, así que lo último que dibujé fueron unas zanahorias para el nuevo amigo.

Después de dibujar y tomar las fotos, me dediqué a pintar con paciencia cada objeto, y luego a darles un toque lindo con el color que escogí.

Por supuesto que esta chica tiene nombre, y es Lily. Si acercan el dibujo a lápiz, lo encontrarán escrito en el cuaderno. Y su amigo el conejo es Kenai.

Admito que me gustó mucho cómo quedó el conejo. Y es gracioso que, cuando lo estaba dibujando, le hice sin querer unas pequeñas rayitas arriba de los ojos, y cuando me di cuenta, Kenai parecía enojado jajaja. Además la patita arriba me hizo pensar que está amenazando a alguien.

Lily es una niña aventurera, amable y súper divertida, le gusta hacer reír a los demás y algunas veces hacerles bromas. Su bebida favorita es la merengada de fresas, ama merendar pastel de helado con fresas y siempre va acompañada de su amigo conejo Kenai.

En su mochila de aventuras nunca falta su cuaderno y lápiz por si se encuentra algo interesante para dibujar. También lleva su cámara y un gorrito para protegerse la cara de los rayos del sol, ya que su piel es delicada y cuando se expone mucho al sol, termina con las mejillas muy rojas y adoloridas.

Y por último, pero no menos importante, en su mochila de aventuras Lily siempre lleva un par de zanahorias para su amigo Kenai.

Kenai es un conejo blanco con manchas marrón claro, que ama las zanahorias, vive con Lily y la acompaña saltando a todos lados. Él es muy travieso, y cuando se meten con él o sus seres queridos, puede ser muy rudo.

Este dibujo realmente me gustó mucho. Puse mucho esfuerzo en cada detalle y en que todo tuviera relación. Ya me gustaba cómo se veía a lápiz, por lo que no me imaginé cómo se vería después de pintarlo. Pero me impresionó el resultado, no pensé que se vería tan bien...

Before I start telling you about my drawing, I want to tell you that one of my favorite social medias is Pinterest, since it always shows me beautiful images of everything I like. And when I'm out of ideas for a drawing, I like to go on Pinterest and scroll down as much as I can for inspiration.

Truth be told I could spend two hours without realizing it looking at images on Pinterest 😅. It's like being in an art gallery only for you.

But, why do I say all this?

Because the idea for this drawing was born from Pinterest. I came up with images of characters with objects and text on the sides (what, if I'm not mistaken, is called Character Sheet or something like that) and I wanted to do something like this.

What caught my attention the most were the small details. Then, once I had the idea that I wanted to do something like that, I started working on my drawing.

Before drawing, I thought about choosing a main color and using its tones, and the color I chose was pink. It also occurred to me to draw everything with a strawberry theme... and I know that strawberries are actually red, but I really wanted to use pink and that's how the drawing ended up with that color choice.

After having defined a color and even a theme, I started to draw the character.

I used a neutral pose, since what I wanted to emphasize were the clothes and the objects.

I drew her a large jacket with white lines, a short dress under the jacket and some rubber boots, the kind you can use to jump in puddles when it rains.

I painted everything a pastel pink. And so it wouldn't be too much pink (and because I don't have many color pencils 😅) I painted the short dress an olive green color.

Before drawing the objects, I remembered that I've seen a lot of images lately of super cute bunnies. And I don't know how to draw realistic animals, but I thought a bunny would look cute, since I was using pastel colors. And well, I practiced for a while until I got a decent bunny and drew it on the sheet where everything else would go.

I drew a backpack, a beanie, a camera, a cake and a strawberry milkshake and I also drew a notebook with a bunny on the cover, and a pencil in the shape of a carrot.

But now my inspiration were bunnies, so the last thing I drew were some carrots for the new friend.

After drawing and taking the photos, I patiently painted each object, and then gave them a nice touch with the color I chose.

Of course this girl has a name, and it is Lily. If you zoom in on the pencil drawing, you'll find it written in the notebook. And her bunny friend is Kenai.

I admit I really liked how the bunny turned out. And it's funny that, when I was drawing him, I accidentally made some little lines above his eyes, and when I realized it, Kenai looked angry hahaha. Plus the little paw up made me think he's threatening someone.

Lily is an adventurous, friendly and super funny girl, she likes to make others laugh and sometimes does pranks on them. Her favorite drink is strawberry milkshake, she loves to snack on strawberry ice cream cake and is always accompanied by her bunny friend Kenai.

In her adventure backpack she never lacks her notebook and pencil in case she finds something interesting to draw. She also carries her camera and a hat to protect her face from the sun's rays, as her skin is delicate and when she is exposed to the sun too much, she ends up with very red and sore cheeks.

And last but not least, in her adventure backpack Lily always carries a couple of carrots for her friend Kenai.

Kenai is a white bunny with light brown spots, who loves carrots, lives with Lily and accompanies her hopping everywhere. He is very mischievous, and when he or his loved ones are picked on, he can be very rude.

I really liked this drawing. I put a lot of effort into every detail and everything was related. I already liked how it looked in pencil, so I didn't imagine how it would look like after painting it. But I was impressed with the result, I didn't think it would look this good....
