Hello friends of the Hive community!
Today I will talk to you again about coffee, especially Brazilian coffee since I have been living here for the last two years and I have had the opportunity to try the great variety of brands that exist in the market.
The coffee that I am sharing with you today is brand "Kimimo", it is produced in the northeast of Brazil, in Rio Grande do Norte, as you can see on the back of the packaging, there it says that to know where the coffee you are drinking comes from, you can see the initials printed right next to the lot information, production date and expiration date of the coffee. There you can see the acronym RN, which refers to Rio Grande do Norte, one of the northernmost states of Brazil and with a very hot climate.
This Kimimo coffee is one of the best known in the market, also one of the best and most economical, there are even more economical brands, but they are not of good quality. But Kimimo coffee, as it says on its packaging is strong and full-bodied, that is to say it has a strong aroma, and when you prepare it you feel a strong coffee without the need to add much quantity to the cup.
Here at home we used to buy coffee powder to brew, that traditional everyday coffee, but it happens that we drank coffee only in the morning and left the rest already prepared in the coffee thermos, to drink later, but it was almost always lost, so to avoid waste, both of coffee and sugar, we started to buy instant or soluble coffee.
My husband and I are the ones who drink coffee in the house, so we prepare a cup each in the morning and that's it. If someone wants to drink more coffee in the afternoon, just heat a cup of water and add a small spoonful of instant coffee and that's it.
Although I must admit that traditional coffee is tastier, the essence of the coffee is felt better, but we cannot fail to appreciate the advantages and practicality of instant coffee, for that reason it is the one that for the moment we choose to consume at home. And because this brand, Kimimo, is a strong coffee, it is perfect for making cappuccinos, coffee with milk and other recipes.
Finally, here is a picture of my cup of coffee this morning, which I accompanied with some whole wheat toast and a little butter. This is the way to start the day with all the energy that our beloved coffee gives us.
Greetings and until another opportunity.
