When Steem was still a thing I used to blog about my running and found many like-minded runners there. Then suddenly (or probably not suddenly, but I did not use enough time on the platform to be updated on everything) we were moved to Hive, and I had some technical difficulties. Perhaps there were some start up problems as well, I can't really remember. Anyways, I sort of just gave up and logged out. (I am logged out of the Discord channel as well, do I use the same password as the key here?)
I am still running, and even more than before! The kids are getting older and more independent, and together with the pandemics forcing me into home office, I gradually increased my running a bit. I still enjoy trail running the most and I still do most of my runs in Z1-2 to stay injury free and to make it easy to run every day if I want to without the total life load getting too much for my body to handle. Although I am no longer at home office I try to keep up the running as I've done since March 2020. During the pandemics I ran a few virtual runs, including a 50K and a 80K/50 miles. After that I've ran a few 50Ks (real races) and a couple of weeks ago I ran a bit more than 60K at a bakyard run. I seem to be a bit stuck to 50Ks for my ultras. Part of me want to train for longer distances whereas other parts of me don't want to get up even earlier at weekends to run farther on my long runs, which is required to get to longer distances. Let's see what the autumn and winter brings.
I see that the runningproject is still active, that's great! I also recognize several of you, which is so great.
Last running selfie: From yesterday's run in sun and crisp autumn air. What's the easiest way of adding photos these days?
