MACRO OF ANEMONY
Capeverde - 2 Photos

🇬🇧 These two photographs represent yellow anemones, more precisely the polyp of what is a coral. It’s a delight to see the details. Dozens of tentacles to capture food made of zooplankton, a mouth, and a gastric conduit to the substrate that will be used to build its hard skeleton. The whole holding on 2 or 3 centimeters!
This detail is hardly visible to the naked eye. You need to use specific equipment for macro photography and suitable lighting to highlight the subject and not the outline. My macro lens is a simple 60mm from Nikon, controlled by a hybrid photographer, all inserted in an Aquatica body. In terms of lighting, the light from my flashes is concentrated in a cone called "Snoot" which allows to direct the light on the subject without illuminating the background. This allows for that black-out effect that features the main subject.
I am submitting this photograph to the @photofeed contest this week.
