I know that right now, you, my reader must be desperate to know what mother did. Anyway, I will tell you because, at first, what I saw confused me and I became something more than annoyance. Yes, my name Marajah worths more than annoyance. lolz.
Before commencing to the main issue or topic at hand, I want to let you all my blog lovers and readers know that there us hunger in this our country Nigeria. There are various things happening in this country that led me into believing that truly, there is hunger. And it's the basis of my speech this afternoon. First, let me start with what I witnessed in the market today.
At the Market
Right now, am living inside town. Why are you asking me the town's name? Please, stay on your own. If I tell you the town's name, next is, your address please. Hahaha, please don't come oo, I have nothing to entertain you oo. lolz.
Alright alright, let's continue...
Am just living alone. So, I checked on my cupboard, I didn't see any garri which is one of the major foods here in my locality. And earlier that very day, mother asked me to visit them. Hahahaha, I know something must come out naa.
Before going, I decided to enter market to purchase some things for them. While buying crayfish and pepper, with the only money I had, I saw a beautiful blind beggar walking around the market with her guardian. The beggar wore google. As I looked at her, my mind witnessed to me that the lady is not blind but that she's just doing it out of pretence because of hunger. Immediately, a guy came, handed her fake 500 naira note. Surprisingly, the beggar called the guy back, she told him to change the money.
The guy became so confused. He asked the lady what's wrong with the money. The guy was so amazed when the so called beggar told him that the NGN 500 is fake. As for the guy, he didn't know the money is counterfeit. At that, the guy raised a loud voice asking the lady how she know the money is fake. Do you guys know what and how the lady responded? Awwwch, there is nothing we will not see in this our lovely country. Hahahaha.
The lady asked the guy: **Can't you see that the money is counterfeit you yourself? Is it because am a beggar that will warrant you into giving me fake money? Ohh, you think am blind abi? am just doing this as an option, meanwhile, it's my business. Nevertheless, you yourself, Are you blind? Let me tell you, it's only the blind that can't see that this money is counterfeit money. That's why you'll not make heaven. You're a devious person. **
Hehehe, see wahala. imagine a blind beggar telling a humble generous giver that he will not make heaven because he gave her a fake currency unintentionally. Chei, how dare a beggar to reject money? Is she really blind? Remember the question she asked the guy:
Ohh, you think am blind abi?
Kai, many things are happening in this country oo. Fake beggars everywhere because of hunger. Bad condition!!!
At home
After the whole drama, I took off to park where I boarded a kekenapep(tricycle) to my villa. As I reached home, I went straight to our refrigerator to know if there is tantalizing there. Wow, I saw ice cream bowls from crunchies inside the fridge. As I dip hand into collecting it, my dad called me. I banged up the fridge tho, my mind was still there. But, as an obedient child, I don't have to give my Dad any excuse for not answering him. After satisfying my father's needs, I went back to the fridge. My people, as I took out the ice cream container, what I saw amazed me. Hmmm. As I lifted up the bowl, the weight wasn't as expected. Ahh, I opened it and what I saw led me into sneezing for good 5 times non-stop. Do you guys know that mom stored grounded pepper inside the bowl? Chei.
Angrily, I walked straight to mother, I asked her why? Mother laughed at me for nothing lesser that 5 minutes before responding to my question. What mother told me, hmmm.
She said:
Nne, see, you have to live with magic in this world and life. The ice cream bowls in the refrigerator are all fake, am Using them to store things like grounded pepper, Pap, and stuffs like that in the fridge. Then, wine bottles are for water. But mind you, always use dark wine bottles to avoid insult. See, even if you have a visitor, you won't feel ashamed of opening your fridge. And when the visitor sees things in your refrigerator, he or she will definitely accord you respect.
At this, my mouth was shut. If my own parents could live a fake life now because of hunger, who then is free? Ohh mother Africa, come to our aid. Fake blind beggar and fake ice cream bowl.
