Happy Monday Hivers!
There are books we find ourselves returning to, time and time again, not necessarily because we have forgotten their stories, but because their words hold a certain beauty and wisdom that touches our souls differently with every reading. I don’t know if you’re the same, but I’m the kind of person who feels that way.
There’s one line from a book that I can never forget: “In money, there is magic.” I came across it while reading The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho, and for some reason, those words have stayed with me ever since.
Every time I see money or people who have a lot of it, I’m reminded of this line. In a way, I’m reminded of it almost every day.
The first time I read this line, “In money, there is magic,” it made me realize so many things. My first reaction was, “You know what? That’s actually true. There really is magic in money.”
Think about it. Who wouldn’t realize that? When a person has a lot of money, even someone who dislikes them might eventually become fond of them, not necessarily because they genuinely like the person, but because of the money they have.
When someone has money, many people are willing to serve them. But not everyone does it out of genuine respect or a sincere desire to serve. Some do it because they know they will earn money in return.
Money can also make things happen faster. Sometimes, instead of going through the usual process, you can take shortcuts simply because you have the money to do so. And for travelers, money opens doors to different places and experiences around the world. As long as you can afford it, exploring new destinations becomes much easier.
When you think about all these things, perhaps the writer was right after all. There really is magic in money.
People often say that money is the root of all evil, but for me, that’s not always true. It depends on how we use and handle money.
Money can make life easier, open doors, and give us access to things we once thought were out of reach. But we should never forget that not everything can be bought with money. Maybe that is why money is so powerful. It can make many things happen, but it cannot guarantee that everything we get is genuine. And perhaps, that is where the real magic of money lies: not just only in what it can buy, but also in how it can change the way people act and treat us.
Thank you for reading and see you on my next blog. Cheers!
