I just finished a 5.08km running that lasted about 0hh:21mm:48ss !

It's been months, but today I finally got to run some intervals, and during day time! I biked to the nearby high school track, so it's easier to switch from the fast parts to the slow ones. 2 warm-up laps, then 6 reps of 1 lap fast/0.5 lap slow, and a final cool-down lap. I was hoping I could run 8 reps, to reach about 4 miles. But it was just too much, I don't think I could have run much more without completely losing my form and pace. And as there was a few other people on the track, I was respectful and ran with a mask. I don't think it really affected my breathing, but I'm just not used to it.

Top speed decreased for the 3 first reps, but surprisingly it stayed pretty consistent for the last 3. It didn't feel that way while running. Except that glitch at the beginning, the heart rate matches very well with the speed, I'm actually surprised that it picked it up that well. Cadence also matches the pace very well. And even if I was 0% in target for cadence, it seems I was much closer during the fast parts. Not sure why, I need to look into that.
That's a good change compared to my usual steady runs. I need to try and do that more often.
