Hi all friends of HIVE 💕 My family and I made PIZZA to participate in this week's Qurator's Hive Top Chef from @qurator. We love pizza but it has been a long time since we went out to eat because of the pandemic theme, so we decided to make pizza at home with what we had in the pantry. I show you the step by step and I hope you like it.
We start with the dough and for this we will make a volcano with 1/2 kilo of flour. We will add two pinches of salt around it, 20 grams of dry yeast and two tablespoons of sunflower oil.
We will start kneading and for this we will need about 200 ML of warm water, we add it little by little and we add all the flour.
My husband took care of the whole process, kneading for about 10 minutes and getting a smooth and light dough. She made a bun and placed it in a bowl with some oil so it wouldn't stick. He covered it with a cloth and we let it rest for 1 hour.
After that time the dough has grown and it is time to assemble the pizza. THE FUN PART. We used the basics and what we had at home, luckily the girls like pizza with everything so we used: onion, canned corn, spinach (from my garden), mortadella and mozzarella cheese.
For the sauce we used tomato puree, we added a little salt and oregano and we put it on the fire until it had a denser texture.
We begin to stretch the dough and leave it more or less 1 cm thick. We shaped it and placed it on a greased tray. We cut the edges and leave it as straight as possible. And we cover it with the sauce.
Little by little we added the ingredients, the onion, the corn, the mortadella, the spinach and the cheese.
We take it to the oven for 30 minutes and you can already smell PIZZA!
The first to try is the pizza master hahaha, my husband. Our pizza was crispy and delicious.
The girls enjoyed their dinner, nothing more rewarding than that.
This is how we prepare pizza at home, I hope you liked it and don't miss @qurator's challenge in the kitchen every week.
