We're harvesting some of the fruits these weeks, so after a long time here's a food post from me :) The first batch of marmalade we made the previous week.

After quite a few years of nothing, there's finally a lot of plums this year, so most of them we use to make marmalade. As we all love it :) We eat some of them as they are, some we give away and the dog ate a lot of them as well, hehe.

Pretty much nothing is required for this, just fruit and sugar. We don't add anything else. It just takes time. But one can always experiment. We keep the peels in as we all prefer it like that.

The final result is a few jars of delicious fruity spread. Much better than the ones found in a store, that's for sure.

Till today we already cooked enough to last us a while :)

We also cooked a few batches with another type of plum for the first time, I don't know what's it called in English, we call it "ringlo". It's different and less dense by default, but still very good. Now the apple and pear time is coming.

This is my entry for today's #foodphotography contest.

Have a nice day.
