Good day everyone am delightful to share my thoughts on the quote that says "give to Caesar what belong to Caesar.
So i was in the room and suddenly, I heard a knock outside the door and before I could answer, he batched in and exclaimed in these Nigerian slangs: omo caesar don die ooo
Everybody just dey pack watin belong to caesar.
I was shock and I replied in the same slang: ahh moh go pack our shares nah coz Caesars don too pack plenty for my side oo
Now the slang is talking about the popular Proverb that says give to caesar what belong to caesar. So now that caesar is dead, what then happens to all the property he's been collecting.
Now when we went to Caesar 's house, what I saw there, made me realize something and I turn to leo and said: bro so Caesar just dey collect watin no belong to am since meaning Caesar has been collecting what does not belong to him for long now.
In all these, I keep wondering “Why give Caesar his gold when a hungry child needs bread? Some things belong to the people, not Caesar .
People often quote “Give to Caesar what belongs to Caesar” as a shield for their own selfish gain, pretending they’re just following a principle when really they’re benefiting themselves.
The saying give to caesar what belongs to caesar was meant to distinguish rightful authority from what belongs to the people. Using it to justify personal gain misses the point: not everything the powerful claim is truly theirs, and loyalty to justice sometimes means withholding from caesar to benefit those he overlooks.
