Some time ago I did a post about those awful grubs that get into your containers and the time I spent sifting through the soil to get rid of them.
Well, in one of my containers that I did not get around to, got flooded out with too much rain that we have been having lately - and there on the top I found all the grubs floating in the rain water - all dead!!
I took great delight in throwing them all out for the robins to eat.
The moral of this story is that grubs can't swim and can't breathe under water either!!
