The weather has been so warm and dry lately. I could really feel it during my walk today. The garden does not look as lively as before and many of the plants are starting to look tired. Some leaves are already dry, some are torn, and the ground feels like it badly needs rain.
I was hoping that some rain would fall today, but it did not happen. Maybe I did not pray enough for it. Still, I am hoping that in the coming days, the rain will finally drop in our place. The plants really need it, and I want them to survive this dry weather.
Even my morning photography feels a bit more difficult these days. There are not many flowers blooming and the garden looks a little messy. But despite that, I still tried to find something worth photographing. These black and white photos remind me that even in dry and imperfect moments, there are still details to appreciate.
The fallen leaf on the grass, the rough edge of the leaf, and the damaged surface of another leaf all have their own texture and story. They may not look fresh or perfect, but in black and white, the contrast makes them interesting. It shows the reality of nature during this kind of weather.
Maybe this is also how life feels sometimes. There are seasons when things feel dry, quiet, and not so inspiring. But it does not mean that beauty is gone. Sometimes we just need to look closer and stay hopeful.
I am still optimistic that rain will come soon and the garden will slowly recover again.
