You know, for us, Egypt has already become a land of endless contrasts. We are attracted here not only by the expanses of sand and the year-round sun, the waves of the Red Sea, the thousand-year history of the pharaohs or the mystery of the pyramids, but also by a different, as yet unknown Egypt.

Having already had some experience, I can say that when going to Egypt, you should forget all the stereotypes and preconceived notions you have heard. Only when you come here with an open heart, you can see the original, unknown Egypt, understand the local traditions, culture, and life of the locals. Only then will the country reveal itself in all its uniqueness and authenticity.

So, who loves nature, beautiful landscapes, swimming or snorkeling in the Red Sea, I'm in a hurry to share a tour from Sharm El Sheikh, undiscovered Egypt - a different, never-before-seen Ras Mohamed National Park. It was a tour by car, nor sea tour). We went by car because we wanted to see, experience and take our time to see and feel. We already knew in advance that there are roads that can only be reached by car, buses do not go there.

Our first stop is at Ras Mohamed National Park's "Gate of Allah" often referred to as "Gate of God". Gate of Allah was designed by one of the Egyptian engineers, Ali Azam, after 1973 Israel-Egypt war. He created a gate out of cement rocks, inscribing Alla on both sides, which symbolizes the name of Allah in Arabic.

We continued our acquaintance at the Mangrove forests. Mangrove trees release 10 times more oxygen than any other tree in the world.

A
A small seed, having entered the soil and received fresh water, begins to germinate. It is an interesting fact that mangrove forests need fresh water for their initial formation, but once their roots are formed, they settle in salt sea water.

One side of the leaf of mangrove forest trees is green, it is needed for photosynthesis and oxygen production, and the other side is saturated with salt, thus the salinity of the sea is extracted, and salt is especially needed by animals in summer.

We notice a lot of movement in the mud. These are crabs, there are plenty of them here, but you can't catch them because they are extremely agile.

After the mangrove, we inspect 2 crevices. These are geological faults formed as a result of an earthquake. The depth of these crevices is quite large, the bottom is not visible. The smallest depth is 10 meters, and the width of such a crevice is no more than 50 cm. We travel further.

The rock "Ras Mohamed" (Ras Mohamed Rock). Ras Mohamed is a rock rising 37 m above sea level, connecting the Gulfs of Suez and Aqaba with the Red Sea. Ras Mohamed Rock is a towering rock formation composed of limestone filled with fossilized coral.

We climb to the top of the rock by the stairs. After climbing to the top, on the equipped viewing platform, we observe picturesque views of Ras Mohamed Park and the panorama of Sharm El Sheikh through a telescope. The guide tells us that there are beautiful coral reefs in the area of Ras Mohamed Rock, so the place is great for snorkeling.

The mountains themselves are amazing! I think I photographed every stone there - the views are just magnificent!

Looking into the blue distance, we admire the unique environment, nature... we merge with it... we enjoy the peace.

We have lunch at a wonderful campsite of Bedouins. The locals prepared a lot of delicious and hearty food for tourists. Outdoor dining was under a tent, lunch buffet (meat, fish, rice, fruits, chips, sweets, juices, tea). Souvenirs and jewelry were sold not far from the dining room.

We taste grilled chicken, salad, rice, potatoes. The food is prepared specially for us (when we arrived) so everything is really fresh and delicious.

In the afternoon we enjoyed fresh and fragrant herbal tea. We end the tour at beach which by Egyptian language means "deer" beach. Here you can swim and enjoy snorkeling in the Red Sea.

There we swam a lot and saw enough coral reefs, fish of different shapes and colors (clown, parrot fish, hedgehog fish), as well as starfish and urchins. We got a sea of impressions! Loaded with positive emotions, we return to the hotel.

The most important thing to say about this tour is that this is not a historical tour, and you need to understand that you will spend almost all the time walking by rocks and climbing them.

The tour was perfect. I would recommend it to anyone who loves the sea and travels to Egypt for these beauties!
