This Way

I am in the middle of the suburbs. Like... deep, deep in the suburbs.

I'm not sure that this is good for an artist because there is little to draw or shoot.

I went for a walk around the complex to see if I could find some footage for a #WednesdayWalk, by @tattoodjay, post.

Nothing.

Every house here looks identical and is totally flat, bland and uninspiring.

One thing that does stand out is the other folks with artistic natures trying to beautify their homes with statues and plants.

I found some mushrooms, some statues and plants and not much else.

I'm a Matrix chick. I saw the original flick on a big screen back in the 90s when it first came out.

So I always stop for rabbits.

I found this couple and thought they were kind of cute but not arty enough to submit to Alien Art Hive and, also, it's not my art.

I did find a FULL BUSH that I kinda liked. ^😉

But otherwise just the most boring suburban, suburban complex deep, deep in the suburbs.

The thing is when you are an artist, what you see in your mind's eye isn't what is right in front of you sometimes.
