Hello dear Hivers!
Apart from traveling, the other thing I love is trying different foods around the world. I have been following this community for some time and I see many interesting posts. I decided it was time for me to write one too.
The world is divided into two - people who do not like sushi and those who love it 🍣❤️
You may guess that I am from the second group. Sushi is one of my favorite foods and I love trying different types. In this post I will not present you a recipe, but I will share with all sushi lovers some of the types I have tried and liked a lot.
The first combo I will present to you is probably one of the best I have tried. It was from three types of sushi:
- mango crab - obviously contains mango and crab
There are also Philadelphia, cucumber, avocado and Japanese mayonnaise. Certainly an unusual combination. For the first time I tried mango sushi. But the combination with crab was great and I would try again. - Temari salmon - rice, salmon, mix of sesame and Philadelphia
At first glance, simple ingredients, but combining them is amazing. I tried temari for the first time, but I was impressed and it was definitely on my list of favorites. It melts in your mouth and sushi lovers will surely like it. - Vesuvius - also contains salmon, tempura sawdust, unagi sauce and pink paper
Many people are surprised by the contents of pink paper. But the taste is really very pleasant and soft and combines great with the other two types of sushi.
Again quite a rich combo that I love to share with friends. Contains futomaki with tuna, hosomaki with salmon and nigiri with shrimp. Classic combinations that I hardly need to talk about. I'm sure that anyone who loves sushi is pretty well hooked with these types.
The other three types are also I would say classic. Salmon, shrimp, avocado. Just magic that only a sushi lover will understand.
And another tamaari. This time with shrimp. And of course Philadelphia and sesame. A not so famous species that I recently tried for the first time. Very simple, but delicate and delicious. Sometimes after a hard day full of stress, I just want to enjoy a few of those with a glass of wine in hand.
And the last set for today. A great combo.
We have sashimi salmon in one corner. Sashimi is certainly not for everyone. And many people who love sushi don't like sashimi. But I personally like to diversify with it sometimes.
And we have four more different sushi. Something for everyone.
The first is with smoked salmon and wild onion. Somewhat familiar and traditional taste, but wild onions give an interesting note.
The second is with crispy fish. Very different and interesting sushi. Contains pangasius, spicy sawdust, Japanese omelette, panko and soy-garlic mayonnaise. An unconventional mix, which I really liked. I just have to add that because of the spice sawdust it is quite spicy.
And the other two species are classic with salmon, tuna, Philadelphia and avocado. You just can't miss them when you eat sushi.
I'm glad I had the opportunity to share with you some of the types of sushi I love. I will only add that while writing the post I really got hungry. I would gladly eat a combo :)
Thank you for your attention and greetings to all sushi lovers!
