Dear @lidac,
maybe next year will be better than the last. Sounds familiar? Every year I make new resolutions but somehow I end up quitting on everyone of them. Well todays blog is about that and I am pointing out that this time it will be different (sic!). Why? Well it is easy. Bear with me a couple of minutes and I will explain myself. For many years I was trying to get back into writing but somehow I always quit before I started.. After I declared it official on steemit I was bound to keep my promise, and at the end of the day I started looking forward to sit down and write. So this strategy has helped me keep my promises(mostly to myself since I don’t have many readers hehe, but also to the ones that follow me and enjoy my posts!!!), because it gave me that little push that I needed to get back on track and as I said it feels great!
That being said I am starting a new mission at the beginning of the next year. I will have to keep my steem promise and I am sure that it will be an incentive to keep going. For the last two years, at least, I have been paying a gym membership and like many of you not using it! (
All jokes aside I am sick and tired of feeling guilty about it and that is why I am starting a new blog about that. I will post weekly about my achievements or struggles! Hopefully this strategy will pay off not in the sense of actual monetary funds but more in the sense of feeling better about myself. It is about high time I start doing something about it instead of just whining and feeling bad about myself.
So instead of making big important new years resolution I will try to conquer my own demon..
I really look forward to taking this next step as I am sure that physical health is the key to mental health..and we all need that!(especially me hehe..)
So in the words of Juvenal and in the spirit of “Mens sana in corpore sano” I am officially challenging myself to keep my promise and get in shape!
Keep in touch,
@lidac
