Wednesday Walk: My trip to Lakeview Park - a "Ibis" experience!
Hello Friends, and thank you for your visit!

It is #wednesdaywalk #41 of 2026, and for this week I took a trip over to Lakeview Park. I was sure I would get some good photos over there!
But first I want to thank @tattoodjay for this community - #wednesdaywalk ,
"Thank You"!

So today was the first day in a good week where it was Sunny all day, and after thinking about it I decided on "bang for the buck" so to speak so...
After some thought I figured "Lakeview Park" was my best shot and there I went!
So from the parking lot when you first turn in this is the sign for the Park,
And when I climbed down to the water the "Ibis" were somewhat unconcerned,,
And there was also quite a few Turtles as well,
After a few minutes they came running!
This one flew back to the far side where there was a crowd of them,
This is some Pidgeons on the shore,
This is a bunch of Pidgeons and some Seagulls also by the water,
Then I got lucky because the Ibis became fearless!
Here by the water I got a pretty good photo,
And this one came trotting right through the water past me!
Well the ones on the far side were not having it and came running as well!
And ran right past - some children came down to the water with some bread (bad move - bread is not really good for them or the Ducks, there is signs),
And they ran past like the Army coming in!,
These look like some kind of "thug gang"! The Seagulls are wondering "what's going on"?
And two more playing in the water,
Well with the "children there" I started moving away. Parents can "invent" anything. So this is a view across the water to the far side and most of the Pond,
And then I decided to leave altogether, so....
On my way back up out of the Pond area I saw these "Palo Verde" blooming. This is a branch,
And a few flowers,
At that point I left, I don't like being crowded or in situations where "our rights are more important than yours" situations. It's like those "baby onboard" stickers. I ask myself "why don't they put those on the "dashboard " to remind the "parents " of what they are doing - instead of "warning me"?
That was my #wednesdaywalk this week,
I want to thank you again for your visit - "Stay Blessed, Safe, and Happy"!
