Happy #aliveandthriving Tuesday afternoon/evening to you and thank you for your visit!
So this afternoon I took a short 4 mile / 6.437 kilometer bike ride - trying to get the numbers up.
While I was out I took a few photos around the neighborhood to share with you - so you could see the "Spring in Fall" effect we are having,
So let's take a look!
So first I rode over to the Park. We had a Storm blow in this morning so I wanted to take a look. Here is a look across the Channel with the Storm Clouds blowing away,
And other look a little to the South along with the Shoreline and the Breeding Pond,
Well not much going on so I left there and rode around a bit. While riding I wanted to take a photo of this type of tree, as many here have these on the yard. I found this one and thought it a good opportunity! These are known as "Goldenrain tree aka Chinese flame tree". This is what the trees look like,
And a closer view of a branch so you can see the seed pods,
Riding around a bit more I saw the Mexican Olives are in full bloom again as well. A branch out in the Sun,
And a closer view of some flowers,
At this point I was feeling pretty good so I rode a bit further and found these growing,
It's a "Rain Lily", it seems they pop up after a storm. I also got lucky! If you look close there is a "Flower Crab" Spider on one of the petals!
From there I took a trip down the Channel to the Lower Breeding Pond. Over there the water level was pretty high ,
And out on the Sandbar the birds were collecting - probably for the evening hunt!
And from there I rode home, and that was about it for Tuesday afternoon!
I want to thank you again for your visit and I am Wishing you a Very Blessed, Happy, and Safe Mid-Week!
