The BrewDog is Scottish Brewery founded in 2007 by two friends Martin Dickie and James Watt. It took only a decade to conquer the world and gain recognition among kraft beer lovers in almost every corner of the world. Today, in addition to the 50 BrewDog bars in UK, there are 24 bars around the world under the name of the Scottish Brewery of Fraserburgh.
The first beers were brewed in a small warehouse and the company was formed by Martin, James and... their dog, hence the name of the BrewDog. Martin Dickie often repeats like a mantra "them and us", lining up among rebellious independent craft breweries against large international brewing companies. Today, many beginner brewers are setting up the BrewDog on the other side of the barricade.
Their first beer was the Punk IPA, a light, golden classic, had a caramel and tropical fruit aftertaste, including pineapple, grapefruit and lychee with a bitter finish. They gradually introduced more beers, including Dead Pony Club, India, Lost Lager, Clockwork Tangerine and Jet Black Heart Nitro to name a few. Most of them are still brewed and gaining popularity among fans.
Recently, the brewery has decided to successively replace the very well recognized labels with new designs that may at first glance confuse, but you don't drink beer with your eyes.
This fully automated IPA is infused with tangerine. At 4.5% it’s a stand-out session beer that packs a perfectly timed delivery of juicy citrus and mellow tropical fruit resting on a light toasty and caramel base. Fresh, juicy and sessionable. Clockwork Tangerine - the Director’s cut for the twenty-first century.
Clockwork Tangerine is a very good refreshing beer for warm summer days. Nice amber clear colour with medium foam. Very fruity aromas, fresh hops and citrus notes prevail. The taste is a pleasant fruity and spicy bitterness giving refreshment.
