Hello Hive Fam, global friends, and co鈥慞inoy Hivers!
Yesterday brought me a sweet surprise. My boyfriend from Manila showed up at my door without notice, carrying a styro of lechon he bought on the way.
It鈥檚 been quite a while since I last tasted lechon, so my tummy was thrilled. I transferred it from the styro to a plate and placed the lechon sauce separately in a small plate, because dipping each crispy bite into the sauce makes it extra satisfying.
We enjoyed it together for lunch, pairing the savory lechon with a glass of cold Coke each. Simple but perfect!
Our fur baby Cardo also got some bonding time with him, though I didn鈥檛 take photos this time. I wanted to flex the lechon first; it truly stole the spotlight.
By 6 PM, he had to head back to Manila for work the next day. Even if the visit was short, it was filled with love, laughter, and good food.
