Triple Chocolate Sweet Glazing Donut Handmade Clay Keychain

Hello, how are you? The very first sweet I remembered tasting was chocolate. We used to live with one of my grandmother's sisters on my father's side, who is technically my grandma too, and she used to have a full refrigerator of chocolates, which was supposed to be given to us from our family abroad, but she kept it by herself and ate it I guess LOL now she is facing the cosiquence of her action and got sick and you know what disease it is.

So yeah, what a mess on my father's side. I am so thankful to my mom that we moved out to my mother's side, which is more peaceful and away from family conflict.

So today I am going to make a donut clay keychain made out of chocolate, you heard me right, chocolate.

Craft Time!

I knead the polymer clay by hand to smooth it, and I like to weigh the clay I use. Optionally, you can skip this part.

Shape the clay into a ball. Place it on the top of any lid container you have, as long as it has an inch of height.

I use the tip of the body of my clay tool to create a hole in the center of it.

To add texture in the middle of the donut, I use my needle tool to do the job.

To add the next texture, I use a toothbrush and a tree brush tool. Dap it lightly onto the clay.

Wrap the middle part with a sticker before adding shades to it.

Then I added shade on it using soft pastels and a brush. Using soft pastel is recommended if you want a realistic-looking shade to the clay.

To make the glaze, I mix brown clay, clear glue, and darker brown soft pastels. I keep mixing until well combined, and when I am satisfied with the glazing, I apply onto the top of the clay.

Then I added the eyepin, and after that I bake in into a preheated oven with a temperature and time as instructed on the packaging of the clay.

To add the chocolate sprinkles, I scrape out some of the clay I baked before, using my X-acto knife. This is what it looks like.

I am going to make a glazing again by mixing UV Resin and soft pastels mix them together.

And then I added the clay I scraped out earlier into the mixture and mixed them again until well combined, and the apply onto the clay.

This is what it looks like, and then cure it under a UV Lamp for a few minutes.

I am still not satisfied with the glazing, so I mixed UV Resin and white soft pastels this time.

Just like I did earlier, apply it to the clay.

Cure it under a UV Lamp for a few minutes.

For the keychain, I put the jump ring into the eyepin. Lock it using the two pliers I have for better and easier.
