Market Friday - Food for Dinner

Here is my entry for Market Friday by @dswigle. Doing nothing but daydreaming, I decided to take a walk at the supermarket to buy some stuff to cook and eat for dinner. It's around quarter to Five o'clock in the Afternoon but the sun is still as high as noontime.

As I enter the supermarket, I went straight to the Wet section where all the kinds of seafood and fishy things can be found to buy some grams of shrimp.

Next, I went to the vegetable section, to buy some veggies for the recipe, here you can find vegetables in good shape and condition. Look at the tomatoes, it was so appealing and attractive.

After getting all my needs, I went to the weighing section to price my chosen veggies, I saw this pregnant woman coming and lined up behind me, so I allowed her to go on first, and "boom" the grocery she bought made me smile. that was a lot, I mean “really a lot".

After a long wait, I had my veggies weighed and priced, I go straight to the Cashier to pay for the stuff I bought, and thanks to God there is no queue.

All in all my bill was 27dhs or around $7.50.

Heading back to the house, I have to cross two pedestrians with a traffic light in each of them and I'm telling you waiting for a minute or two under the intense heat of the sun is "whatever" hahaha, all I can say it melts me down.

Dinner food is ready, this is what we called Bulanglang (Boiled Vegetable soup dish) back in the Philippines and here I'm gonna end this blog.
