First photography from LA!

What’s up, Hive? I’m home, sick in bed. I must have gotten something during the trip to Los Angeles. I barely slept last night and now, the chills are setting in […strong possibility that’s about the Minnesota winter creeping in, though]. I still managed to get some time in at @caffetto tonight. @vermillionfox met me there after work. It wasn’t easy to focus. I’ve been lured by God of War on the Steam Deck lately. @felblob has been grinding on the @neverwel website, getting our functionality ready for next month’s Ønfall release on WAX. I had enough self discipline to get a few edits done.

These are the first few edits from returning to Minnesota after the last 10 days in Los Angeles and San Diego. First, this shot is of an LA based model known as Bettie Pagan. Most of the trip was about shooting with a prominent cosplay model; someone that I’ve been talking and planning this collaboration with since before COVID. She flaked with less than 12 hours notice and Bettie was cool enough to drive to me in Pasadena at almost midnight to shoot the wardrobe I’d pulled from La Femme En Noir. This is just one shot that jumped out at me, but I love it.

@dressedtokillyou and I have been friends since 2016 when we first shot together during Viva Las Vegas at The Artisan Hotel. She flew in from London. @dressedtokillyou in a well known fetish model and burlesque performer and this was our first time seeing each other since 2019. We hadn’t planned this collaboration as it just so happened that she was flying in to Los Angeles two days after I arrived. With that, we knew we had to carve out some time to shoot and did so early in the morning last Friday. She met me in Pasadena and this is the first shot.

Lastly, this is the first shot of my friend Cindy since January. Hard to believe, I just barely made it to LA twice in one year after not making it there at all in 2021. Cindy and I shot together at The Culver City Hotel last time. This time, I booked us a quaint, bohemian AirBnB at the very top of Topanga Canyon. She’s always a little apprehensive about shooting but I encouraged her knowing this would be my last trip in a while. She invested in a beautiful Honey Birdette caged lingerie set and this is the first shot I decided to edit from the thousand or so we shot.
