A beach trip to Southern Thailand with my family (over 1,000 kilometers away from my home) : On the third day from Phetchaburi beach to Prachuap Khiri Khan (Hua Hin) beach.
Hello everyone. How are you today? I hope all is well with you and your family. It’s day 3 of our domestic family beach trip. According to our original plan, we were supposed to drive all the way to Krabi or Phuket. However, we finally changed our minds today and decided not to go any further. Our final destination is now just Prachuap Khiri Khan. This morning, before setting off from Phetchaburi to Prachuap Khiri Khan, we went to 7-Eleven to buy instant congee, instant noodles, boiled eggs, sausages, pandan bread. We then took them back to eat at the small hotel in Phetchaburi where we had spent last night.
After our simple breakfast, we continued our journey to Prachuap Khiri Khan Province, with Hua Hin as our destination. It was only about 20 kilometers away from our accommodation in Phetchaburi. Once we arrived in Hua Hin, we looked for a place to stay first, we planned to find a resort rather than a hotel. We booked a resort in Hua Hin for 3 days and 2 nights. This resort has a nice atmosphere. However, check-in wasn't until 2 PM, so we went for a scenic drive. We also picked up our lunch at 7-Eleven.
After lunch, we took a walk and went playing at the beach. It's very quiet there right now. Because it's the monsoon season, the water isn't clear and the sky is overcast, so there are hardly any people around. However, we had a wonderful and joyful time. I was especially glad to see my autistic son in such good spirits, he was much less frustrated and showed no self-harming behavior. As for my granddaughter, this was her very first beach trip, and she had an amazing time and loved it so much. My daughter took the photos this time.
Close to 3 PM, we checked into the resort we had reserved. Afterward, I took my granddaughter for a stroll around certain areas of the resort to take in the scenery.
In the evening, my daughter and granddaughter played in the resort's swimming pool. But my wife, my autistic son, and I were relaxing in the room.
To wrap up our dinner today, since this resort doesn't serve food, we went to a small restaurant nearby. We ordered simple dishes.
These are the stories and photos I want to share for this post. Invite everyone to see and enjoy my stories and photos. Please forgive any errors/mistakes. Have a great day. See you next time. Thank you for your support and visiting my post. Bye 🤗
