My day started early, at 6 o'clock I arrived at the bakery and started the prep for today. In Belgium it's kinda a tradition to eat pie with the family on sunday. That's why the orders are a lot more to prepare than on a normal weekday ! Today we sold over more than 200 pies !
I'll share some pics with you guys, but for legal reasons I can't give the recipe. Hope you are enjoying this beautiful day as much as I am.
I started with baking a couple of these gluten-free chocolate pies, with pistachio and hazelnuts.

And last but not least : these amazing pavlova's with raspberry, lychee and green lemon, my favorite of this season ! I will be doing a small how to - video about this pavlova. Stay tuned for that one !
I absolutely love doing this every day. I learned so much in the past few months. Also really exciting is the fact that my best friend works with me in the bakery on sunday !
