Cupbap, or rice in a cup, was started as a quick and cheap street food targeted at those young students preparing for college admission exams or state exams at the private institutes gathered around Noryangjin station, has become a popular street food, and so the district office provided a lot on the nearby sidewalk for cupbap stalls. Priced at 3,000 to 4,000 won, cupbaps with various combinations of simple toppings are welcomed by those who want to save time and money.
