Running errands and breakfast having in a nearby district, and simple shopping with my wife.
Hello everyone. How are you today? I hope all is well with you and your family. Yesterday my wife and I went to our local District Office to officially move our registered address (House Registration) from Bangkok to Chiang Mai, after having lived in Chiang Mai for almost 10 years without updating it. Now that our house registration has been officially moved and our addresses with various banks have been successfully updated, we are renewing our Thai National ID cards today to ensure our correct and current Chiang Mai address is reflected. But today we didn't go to our local district office. Instead, we went to a nearby one because it’s much less crowded. As soon as we dropped off our granddaughter and autistic son at school, we immediately went to a nearby district office. Even though it's in a different district, but this district office is only 10 kilometers away from my house. And today's travel vibe is completely different from yesterday. Yesterday's sky was clear and bright, but today there's a light fog, making the sky look dark and overcast like it's about to rain.
The district office opens at 8:30 AM. We queued up for a new ID card, which took some time to process. As it is a government office, I refrained from taking pictures inside. In the late morning, the sky was clear and it was quite hot. It was another day that we had a late breakfast, so we bought ours from a food stall near the district office. Since these food stalls lack seating, we had breakfast at the district office grounds.
After breakfast, we headed back to our district and visited the health clinic. We picked up a few things at a local shop nearby. Since I was still full from our late breakfast, we skipped lunch. Later, we hit the fresh market to grab some ingredients we missed yesterday.
Due to the increasing temperature, we pick up our autistic son from school earlier than standard hours and returned home. These are the stories and photos I want to share for this post.
