This recipe is Oreo lemon cream.
I thought regular cream would be boring, so I made it with lemon cream.
-ingredient-
oreo biscuit
-. Almonds + 3/2 cup walnuts -.
-. 7 dates
-. 1/2 cup honey or maple syrup.
-. 3 tablespoons coconut oil
-. 1/3 cup cocoa powder
-. (optional) small amount of salt
- Lemon cream
-. 1 tablespoon coconut oil
-. 1T lemon marmalade
-. 1/4 cup coconut slices
-. (Optional) Vanilla Ext.
-Cooking Order
- If the date palm is a dry product, soak it in hot water for about 10 minutes.
- Add walnuts, almonds + dates and cocoa powder and grind first.
At this point, squeeze the seeds and water out of the date palms and add them.
- Add coconut oil and honey and grind to make an Oreo dough.
Then roll out this dough thinly on plastic wrap and refrigerate (about 30 minutes).
- Add the lemon cream ingredients and blend well with a blender.
It will then look like minced garlic, but if you can grind it finely, you can grind it more.
(I don't have a food processor, so it looks like real minced garlic).
- Make a round shape out of the frozen Oreo dough and put lemon cream in the middle.
- Done!
Tasting review: after making it, it tasted more like a chocolate macaron than an Oreo.
The combination of chocolate base dough and lemon cream is not as bad as I thought it would be.
However, I felt that the acidity was a bit lacking because I used green mandarin marmalade instead of lemon marmalade.
Wouldn't it be more delicious if I added fresh lemon or lemon juice when making the lemon cream? I think.
I had fun making it!
Thank you. Have a nice day
