Sometime last year, I took my time to do a thorough survey on how ladies save and spend their money, and what I found out was so real. I've been living with the truth I got from this survey, and it has helped me so many times.
Over here in my country, giving ladies money is likened to filling a cup that is already full.
Whenever a lady tells you that her account is showing red, it's a big lie; their account can never run dry. Even if she goes along to show you the bank account on her phone, the truth is that she has another account that you don't know about. The next of kin to that account can never be within your thoughts.
When I did my service (NYSC), I lived in the midst of ladies, where they gave me details of happenings in their lives.
The majority of the ladies I mingled with, did not touch their monthly government allowance; once the allowance comes, they quickly send it to their locked savings account, and they'll open an "expenses account" on any guy that's ready to be a father Christmas to them
So bad, I was a father Christmas to most of them because of my position, and I saw a mini-hell.
Sometimes I don't blame them because that's how they were programmed. They save their money and depend on others (guys).
Although there's nothing wrong with giving money to female members of the family, but at some point, you still need to pause and scan through their accounts to know whose cup is heavily full already in order not to outsmarted.
Sometimes last year and earlier this year, I had a friend that was always disturbing me for recharge cards, and to be sincere, those periods were tough for me. Each time she asks, I always manoeuvre the request with "let me see what I can do," and unfortunately, I'm yet to see what I can do till today.
One day, she came again, "Kingsley love, subscribe for me, na." (Kingsley love, buy data subscribe for me)
Oh! The "love" wanted to sweep me off my feet, but I was strong and I remained unshaken.
Things were very tough on me that day,
as usual, and that was the season I powered down my HP to foot some bills. So when she asked, I wanted to react harshly to her, but I decided to maintain my peace. I quickly logged in to give and went straight to check her hive wallet, where I met 23HBD, 66HIVE, and 570HP. I nodded my head, went back to the chat, and replied to her:
"Why not change some quantities of Hive to fiat and buy this subscription for data?"
She replied;
"No ooo! I'm saving that money."
"Oh! So it's me that doesn't know how to save money, right?" I asked, and we laughed over the situation.
The example above is just the tip of iceberg of what ladies can do to save their money and beg for Favour from guys.
Some time ago, there was this lady that I finally decided to shoot my shot at after crushing on her for a long time.
It'll surprise you to know that the day I opened up was the day she opened an 'expenses account' on my head.
It was during her graduation from OND and the expenses that her father was supposed to handle were pushed onto me.
I don't want to go into details.
The day I opted out from her love was the day she asked me to buy her graduation jacket, and I boldly told her that *** I'm a very stingy guy, if all her billings are meant to test me to see if I'm stingy or not.***
And she was like, "No, na, how can you say something like that?"
I didn't buy it, and she got angry, but do you know the interesting thing?
On the graduation day, I saw her putting on the jacket. Where did she get the money?
Where???
