Each time I go through the gallery on my phone to view pictures and I sight these particular set of pictures, it reminds me of my birthday celebration which took place May 22nd, 2018. Then, I was a 300 level student of my alma mater. In anticipation of my birthday, I made my hair, bought new clothes which I wanted to use for photoshoot not bothering about cake because as a student back then, I wasn't having enough money to buy cake for birthday shower.
All I was just after was taking pictures and inviting few friends of mine to join me in the photoshoot. I believe having the pictures alone will serve as a memory no matter how long they take.
Whenever I see the pictures, it reminds me of my friends back then in school and how we used to celebrate birthdays during school days. During the preparation for my birthday, I made my hair four days to the D-day while I took the pictures two days before the D-day. Meanwhile the photographer did the editing and sent the pictures to me a day to the D-day.
After the photographer sent the pictures to me, I went ahead to send the pictures to my friends on WhatsApp for them to post the pictures on their social media handles which includes WhatsApp , Facebook, Twitter (now known as X), Instagram, and so on as a way of celebrating me because there is nothing sweeter than seeing yourself on all social media platforms being celebrated on your big day.
