Last week's Friday was really a fun and memorable day for me because I attended one of my friend’s birthday celebrations and Honestly I was not even planning for anything serious that day but when my friend reminded me about the birthday celebration, I knew I had to prepare and show up.I woke up that Friday morning feeling normal but later in the day, I started thinking about what I was going to wear.
You know how it is when you are going out for a birthday party, you will start bringing out different clothes and checking which one looks better, I spent some time deciding on my outfit because I wanted to look good and also feel comfortable. After choosing what to wear, I took my bath and started getting ready. I made sure everything was okay before leaving the house. I checked my phone, charged my power bank, and arranged myself properly.
I also took some pictures before going out because why not? It is not every day that someone gets dressed up and attends a fun event After everything was set, I contacted some of my friends who were also attending, and we agreed on how we were going to meet up. When I finally left for the venue, I was already feeling excited because I knew some of my friends and other people I knew would be there.
The journey to the place was smooth although I was checking my phone from time to time to know if the celebration had already started. Immediately I arrived at the venue. I could already feel the atmosphere, The place was lively, music was playing, and people were moving around and greeting each other. Some people had already arrived before me, while others were still coming in, I quickly greeted the birthday celebrant and wished my friend a happy birthday.
As more people arrived the place became even more interesting, Everyone was taking pictures, making videos, laughing, and talking about different things. One thing I enjoyed was seeing people who had not seen each other for a long time meeting again. There were plenty of conversations, jokes, and funny moments.
The food and drinks were also available, and everybody was enjoying themselves. Music was playing in the background, and at some point, people started dancing. I am not even going to lie, the energy in the place was really good, Even people who were quiet when they first arrived later started joining the fun.
The birthday cake moment was also one of the highlights of the celebration, Everybody gathered around, singing and celebrating the birthday person, Phones came out immediately because everyone wanted to record the moment. After the cake cutting, the celebration continued, and the fun became even more interesting.
I also took plenty of pictures with my friends because those pictures would later become memories, We laughed about different things, talked about school, life, and some old memories that made us laugh again.
By the time the celebration was coming to an end. I was already tired but happy, It was one of those days where you leave home expecting to just attend an event, but later you end up having more fun than you expected. Last week's Friday was definitely a memorable day for me and I was happy that I attended my friend’s birthday celebration.
