One thing I have noticed these days is how social media can make everybody's life look perfect. You open your phone in the morning, check Facebook, Instagram or TikTok, and almost everybody seems to be enjoying life. One person is travelling,
Another person just bought a new phone,
Somebody is wearing fine clothes and taking pictures in a beautiful place.

Another person is posting about how successful their business is.You keep scrolling and sometimes you start wondering, “Is everybody doing well except me? But the truth is social media only shows us what people decide to post.
Most people don't post everything happening in their lives.

If somebody has a bad day they may not post it. If they are worried about money, they may not put it online and If they had an argument with somebody, you probably won't see that part. Instead, you will see the nice picture they took after everything was arranged properly and there is nothing wrong with posting good moments. Everybody deserves to enjoy their happy moments and share them with people. The problem starts when we begin comparing our everyday life with somebody else's best pictures.

Sometimes you can be sitting in your room wearing normal clothes worrying about school, money and other responsibilities, then you open your phone and see somebody posting pictures from a big event. Immediately, you start feeling like your own life is somehow behind,
I have experienced that feeling before.
You see somebody achieving something and instead of simply being happy for them, you start asking yourself why you haven't reached that point yet But everybody has a different journey.
The person you are looking at online may also have problems you know nothing about.

That person smiling in the picture may have spent the whole day dealing with something difficult before taking that picture. The person showing a new business may have failed several times before getting to where they are,
The person travelling today may have spent months saving money for that trip.
We simply don't know the full story,
That is why I think we should be careful about using social media as a measurement for our own lives.

Social media can also be useful, You can learn new things, meet people, discover opportunities, promote your work and even find motivation from other people's experiences But there has to be balance.
Sometimes, you need to put the phone down and focus on what is happening around you, Talk to your friends,
Go to class, Work on your plans and eat your food without taking ten pictures first.
Enjoy the moment without worrying about how it will look online.

Another thing I find interesting is that some people spend so much time trying to make their online life look good that they forget to enjoy their real life, They are at an event but instead of enjoying themselves, they are busy checking who viewed their story. They are eating but they are thinking about taking the perfect picture.
They are with friends but everybody is on their phones.

Sometimes, we need to remember that not every beautiful moment needs to be posted, Some moments can simply belong to us. At the end of the day social media is only one small part of life. The pictures we see are real, but they don't always show the whole story. So these days, when I see people doing great things online, I try to appreciate it without using their life to judge mine, Everybody has a story behind the picture and sometimes the part we don't see is the most important part
